I was going to bring a rolling cooler at the end of the day. The 2 main teachers leave a few minutes after I get E. I was trying to come up with something different and useful. It is funny to think about me carrying them though. I think I would rethink it. I think a honey baked gift card is a good idea. The great thing about a honey baked ham gc is they can get a ham or sides or dessert. And it doesn’t go bad.

I'm not sure what todo. I don't know what is usually done at this school and so I hope to find out soon. I don't want to buy something on my own then find out they do a gift fund.

I usually always do gc - target, sbux, Marshall’s/home goods, Amazon. I feel like I don’t know the teachers well enough personally to pick out an actual gift. Also, now is about the time both my kids switch DC rooms so brand new teachers that I don’t know at all. I also do a cookie tray for the admin staff- receptionists, floaters, support staff type, who most likely don’t get individual gifts.

Some of the independently owned restaurants in our area do a 50 gc special. They charge 25 dollars and only offer it for a limited time (sometimes very limited, like just on Black Friday) It's a great deal if they run them in your area.

I’ve seen that, or something like ‘buy $75 worth, get $25 free’. I’ve heard Costco has good deals on GC’s ($100 for $80 or similar) so maybe worth checking into if someone needs to buy several. Like yummeecookee I don’t feel like I know B’s teacher well; I’ll probably do a Target g.c.

This also reminded me that I am going to get my SIL a grocery store gift card. They just had baby #4 and have a tight budget and her husband doesn't seem to know what the budget really means. I also love the grocery giftcards more than other giftcards

Last year I got these great shirts from lfig's cousin(?). The teachers loved them, then the office told them they couldn't wear them because they weren't the uniform. I was pissed and so were they.
