I told H that i want new pots and pans for Christmas and it must include a pan that can go from the stove to the oven. I told him I would direct him to what I wanted. I now need you to direct me to the cookware I must have. Please help me out - I don't have enough time to research by myself!!!
Tell me what you have and why you love it and why should i love it!!

I got a Lagostina set for the wedding 9 years ago and they all still look brand new and work great.
I don't know what's good right now, but I would look for something with a heavy bottom because it distributes heat more evenly. Mine are stainless steel (throughout) which is nice because they can go inside the oven as well.

We have several stainless All-clad pots/pans. We usually ask for them for gifts or find them at places like Home Goods, though, because of the price.

I'm getting a whole new set for Christmas too. This is what I'm eyeing: a.co/58GvimaThey're oven safe up to 500 degrees & dishwasher safe.

I have an orange set right now. They start to chip and flake over time.
Scroll down to "From the Manufacturer" it says: "Versatile Performance Oven safe to 500°, this set can be used on stovetop, in oven, or under broiler, providing a range of versatile performance. Further, this set can be used on a variety of stovetops, and is freezer safe for easy food storage."

I have stainless and love it. I’m not sure the brand at the moment. My skillets are one brand and pots are another. I do have a smallish nonstick skillet from pampered check that I generally use for fried eggs. I also have my cast iron skillet which I tend to use the most for transferring from stove top to oven.

I wouldn’t get a whole set (bc $$$$), but I don’t think you can beat an enameled cast iron Dutch oven and a good cast iron skillet for stove top to oven and vice verse. Le Creuset is amazing, but there are other good brands out there too. And you can find them at a home goods too. Lodge is probably the most affordable, and they look nice and work well too— I think that Target actually has some Lodge.

coconutbacon, I read you can't use cast iron on a glass (electric) cooktop, which is what I have. Womp womp.
