Intro, worried about betas

Hello! I was trying to wait to intro here until this pregnancy was a little more stable, but apparently that isn't going to happen anytime soon. And I could really use some perspective on what my betas might mean.
But first - I'm Moto! I used to post on 3T on the two older sites. My husband and I started to TTC in early 2012, until we figured out his sperm count was zero due to his medication. He got off that, and it took a year for his counts to recover. We still didn't get pregnant naturally, so we started seeing the RE in 2014. We did 7 IUIs in 2014, and then three rounds of IVF in 2015. Finally on IVF #3 I got pregnant with twins. My beautiful girls were born in June of 2016. We had one embryo on ice, so we went back for a FET this October for our last try at another baby.
To my surprise, I got a squinter at 5dp5dt! I was worried the lines weren't dark enough, but they finally started to darken before beta. I was excited to get my results because I knew it would be positive, but then disappointed because my numbers seemed very low. At first my beta doubled, but has been slowing down ever since, so now I'm even more worried. Here are my betas:
13dp5dt: 118
15dp5dt: 313
18dp5dt: 732
21dp5dt: 1390
They had me come in today (21dp5dt) for an u/s to make sure the pregnancy is in my uterus. It is - they saw what they called the "implantation site" - maybe the gestational sac? Although they didn't call it that. But nothing else. My doctor swears that is all she's looking for at this stage. I go back in a week for another u/s.
Does anyone have any experience with betas this low? I know I just need to wait and that no one, not even my doctors, can tell me how this is going to turn out. I'm just wondering if I should feel any hope, or if I need to be realistic that this is probably not going to work out. Thanks for reading!
