A friend recommended the Keepers to me because I loved Spotlight. I haven't watched it yet though. Is yh's aunt in it? Yep. We thought she was just "in" it, but she is one of the main ladies in the series. That's awesome! My friend wants to know if she's Gemma or Cathy.

I am also in freaking love w my eyelash extensions. I don't know how I can ever go back to real ones. Pics please! If you insist! I chose a super long set bc I'm extra, so realize this isn't a look most ppl would go for. I also have no eye makeup on today. Poof ETA. PDQ, will poof later

2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, I don't think this is a habit I can keep up. But would definitely get them again for special occasions.

I felt really good during my pregnancies, I definitely pushed myself too hard some days – moving furniture painting bookshelf and generally trying to take care of everything. I never felt like I was doing too much, but I probably overdid it most days. That was me, too, moreso with C. There were things my H wanted to outsource but I was dead-set on doing them myself. Insanity. Now I'm like, let's outsource all the things!

I remember my mom getting them years ago but I think it was kind of pricey. I've heard of people having issues with their natural lashes falling off but I assume that if that happens they weren't done right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

lahdeedah I think you were looking for nursery stuff this weekend...I just saw yesterday that target has several new collections, including boy one that seem kind of cute. May be worth checking out, and good prices!

Sounds like a tough decision chrisy01, but go with your gut. Everyone has bad days, but I hope it's nothing constant for him. Is this the lady he has a hard time going to the potty for? I feel you Cher. Some days I have a good bit of energy, and some days I'm the laziest. My body is quick to tell me when I over do it. So happy to hear S is doing well with the potty jewels. Don't put too much pressure on the poop, it will happen when he's ready. Hope X feels better soon cagoldi. Love the lashes! yummeecookee

jewels, did he give you any real notice that he was ready? I'm wondering if we should just bite the bullet and try it.

I finally got the approvals I waited 3 weeks for so I actually have work to do today. And of course I'm on vacation mode and don't want to do anything! Just 3 hours to get it all done. eek.

Thanks for all the well wishes yesterday and today ladies! I can't believe my tiny squish is a one year old today. We had fun unwrapping presents and went to the zoo this afternoon, dd loved it! We're now ordering Indian take out because we're to exhausted to cook! If the kids go down easily it's turning out to be a very good day!

I'm not caught up but wanted to pop in to say "hi!" This week is crazy at work because I'm one of two people here (yesterday I was solo half the day and I'll be solo again on FRI).
When y'all were talking about your summer colds you should have worn masks--I woke up with a sore throat. Always happens when I have to work on the weekend. :/

My cousins son was born Sep. 1 and J was born Sep 4. Last year I had J's party on his actual birthday since it fell on a Sunday. Her son, E's fell on Thursday so I assumed they'd have it the weekend before or on Saturday. She got all in a tizzy that I "stole" E's birthday weekend. She ended up not being able to afford a party and didn't have one. Yesterday she told me she's having his party on the Saturday of their birthdays. Reserving it 4 months in advance. I LOLed. She got this confused look and said "well just so you know" Oh okay. Thanks.

I have Keepers on my list but haven't started it yet. I'm embarrassed to admit I'm watching...Riverdale. It's horrible. It's based on the Archie comics, but it's not at all what I remember about the comics other than the character names. The Archie character is super annoying and just takes time away from the storyline where the rest of the characters are trying to solve a murder. Major over-acting all around. Much drama. It's light and fluffy though and doesn't require any brain power.
ETA: Luke Perry is in it and he looks like a shar-pei.

Now she has moved her laptop so at least don't have to watch her make and eat said guacamole.

Now she has moved her laptop so at least don't have to watch her make and eat said guacamole. I mean I love guacamole. But like how is she making it at her desk? I need a cutting board, and knife. You have to cut avocados, limes, red onion, jalapeno, and cilantro. And mash. And mix. And season with salt and pepper. And mash and mix some more. I'm either impressed or horrified that she's using some powder mix stuff.

chrisy01 I was confused, sorry! I think your talk of finding someone to watch L on weekends threw me off...or I'm a ditz...could be both. Anyway, since he's been with this DCP for 3 years, I think I'd sit her down and have a talk with her. Are there other kids L's age there? Making sure you are comfortable and L is happy is more important than worrying about hurting her feelings. E's DCP is a girl my age. She has 2 boys, probably 10 and 8 or so. I sometimes wonder if they say things that E picks up on, but E normally tells me one of the boys said 'such and such.' Yesterday when I picked her up, she told me one of the boys touched her bootie. I asked her where and she showed me, which was more her thigh. I asked her if it made her uncomfortable (because in my head I'm thinking I need to talk to DCP) but she said no and was laughing and carrying on as normal. If she continues to make comments, I will absolutely say something, but a one time comment, I think she's probably exaggerating, like I know she does.

Getting the skin off is a feat in itself for me!
