I have a few questions.
Are your babies still taking a lot of naps?
Is your baby on a nap schedule?
What does your baby nap in clothing wise? Just what they are wearing? Or do you put on a sleep sack or swaddle?
Does your baby sleep with a pacifier?
Do you ever feed your baby to sleep before a nap?

Are your babies still taking a lot of naps? J takes 5 or 6 a day but I keep reading that babies will consolidate naps around 3 or 4 months
Is your baby on a nap schedule? Not even close
What does your baby nap in clothing wise? Just what they are wearing? Or do you put on a sleep sack or swaddle? He just stays in what he is wearing then I put a blanket over him because he is in the living room in the rnp
Does your baby sleep with a pacifier? Never at night but on occasion for nap time
Do you ever feed your baby to sleep before a nap? I really try not to because we eat when he wakes up but sometimes he won't fall asleep and I feed him like 1 oz

Baby A hates sleep, but I'll answer some questions anyways. Lol
Are your babies still taking a lot of naps?
He's not the biggest fan. I *try* to get him to nap about 1.5 hours after he's up for the day, around lunch time and before dinner. I wished he'd nap more.
Is your baby on a nap schedule?
Lolno
What does your baby nap in clothing wise? Just what they are wearing? Or do you put on a sleep sack or swaddle?
Just what he's wearing. When I get ambitious and try to have him nap in his bassinet, I'll put the sleep sack on him.
Does your baby sleep with a pacifier?
Only if it's a nap in the car or carrier.
Do you ever feed your baby to sleep before a nap?
I do most times because he likes to fall asleep nursing. Terrible habit.

Are your babies still taking a lot of naps? Yes and no. Her naps are all over the place right now with adjusting to daycare.
Is your baby on a nap schedule? Not yet but I know that daycare is working on it.
What does your baby nap in clothing wise? Just what they are wearing? Or do you put on a sleep sack or swaddle? I believe at daycare they swaddle if napping in the crib. If they nap in a bouncer or swing then it’s just whatever she’s wearing. Same thing at home.
Does your baby sleep with a pacifier? Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
Do you ever feed your baby to sleep before a nap? Again sometimes yes, sometimes no.

Are your babies still taking a lot of naps? Yes, but the third leap destroyed the nap schedule I thought was forming and he hasn't developed a true schedule at daycare yet or had any of the 2 hr naps he used to have.
Is your baby on a nap schedule? Not really but will get one at daycare.
What does your baby nap in clothing wise? Just what they are wearing? Or do you put on a sleep sack or swaddle? Daytime naps are just whatever he's wearing.
Does your baby sleep with a pacifier? Usually not, although I think daycare uses it more than I do.
Do you ever feed your baby to sleep before a nap? Yep!! Most of the time if he's home.

Ugh naps in our house hold are driving me nuts. My baby fights them sometimes and now so does my toddler... ugh
Are your babies still taking a lot of naps? Yes and no. Some days I can get him 3 solids naps, other days it's many shorts naps. Honestly there are days that I feel he doesn't get enough sleep from naps.
Is your baby on a nap schedule? Some days yes and other days no. We just entered the 3rd leap so I know it will get worse this week.
What does your baby nap in clothing wise? Just what they are wearing? Or do you put on a sleep sack or swaddle? His clothes for the day. Anything from just a onsie or outfit. I tried to only associate swaddles with bed time.
Does your baby sleep with a pacifier? Ugh I wish sometimes. No paci for him, he hates it! Every so often I can give it to him and he will fall asleep. It always falls out.
Do you ever feed your baby to sleep before a nap? Yes pretty much every time. However, he usually wakes before he is put down. Sometimes he goes back to sleep and other times he doesn't.

Are your babies still taking a lot of naps? Some days yes, some days 3 good naps and a cat nap late in the day
Is your baby on a nap schedule? Not really, but usually a couple hours of awake time before the next nap now
What does your baby nap in clothing wise? Just what they are wearing? Or do you put on a sleep sack or swaddle? Usually a swaddle because I'm trying to make more naps happen in her crib vs on me or in the swing, etc. But sometimes just what she's wearing.
Does your baby sleep with a pacifier? Sometimes. She doesn't love it but will take it occasionally to get to sleep. She mostly still falls asleep on me.
Do you ever feed your baby to sleep before a nap? Pretty much only at bedtime. We try to stick to the sleep, eat, play, sleep schedule

Question: how do you guys put your babies down for naps? Do you rock them to sleep in your arms and then once they’re asleep you put them down? Do you put them down while awake? Do you feed them right before?
I asked my future daycare provider (its a home one, just her and three babies, including her son) some questions r.t naptime bc he still falls asleep in my arms 90% of the time and she was pretty straight forward that he will have to go down in a pnp on his own. Since we don’t do that now, now I’m freaking out about him going there if he’s not on a schedule like she wants him to be and if he needs to be rocked- she said she won’t have time for that, obviously, with three babies. Plus, I usually feed him before he falls asleep, so I have to hold him upright bc of his reflux, and she said she wouldn’t be holding him up like that bc, again, three kids, and she follows the “eat play sleep” method, so he should be fine to lay flat by the time it’s sleepy time. But he’s not on the eat-play-sleep schedule....
How do I get him on an “eat play sleep” schedule? Sometimes he wants to eat as soon as he wakes up and sometimes he’s not ready to eat until just before naptime. How am I supposed to force him to change this?

Are your babies still taking a lot of naps? — he takes 3-5 per day. Some are 20-30min, some are close to 2 hours. Every few days he’ll have one super long nap like 2.5/3hours.
Is your baby on a nap schedule? — not like “oh he sleeps at 9,1,5” but he tends to go back down for a nap after 1.5-2hr after waking up from his last nap.
What does your baby nap in clothing wise? Just what they are wearing? Or do you put on a sleep sack or swaddle? — just whatever he is wearing. Sometimes I swaddle him, sometimes if he’s in the swing I just tuck a blanket around him and put his arms out over it.
Does your baby sleep with a pacifier? —yep. Kid loves his paci. Usually falls out at some point but if he’s asleep he doesn’t care.
Do you ever feed your baby to sleep before a nap? — yep. If he is hungry I feed. If that means it falls right before naptime, I’ll feed.

addymac j falls asleep in my arms always. I don't know how to get him down otherwise. We either rock with the pacifier or if he is super fussy I give him half an ounce of formula ( which I hate doing) and then hebgoes to sleep. I hold him 15 minutes then put him down. I'd like to put him down sooner but he wakes up. I'd also like him to fall asleep on his own but it isn't happening and I also don't know how to make it happen.

I’m in the same boat like king26 said she mostly falls asleep in my arms feeding most of the time addymac and I️ don’t know how to change it ugh. She will sometimes fall asleep going into the swing awake but that’s about it! Maybe this will be a good change for N at daycare, might help you out in the long run. Silver lining!?
