Omg it must be a requirement to be slow as balls to be a cashier at Kohl's. Silly me for thinking the ONE person in front of me would go quick. These old ladies won't stop chatting. The worst.

hangry how is E doing with you not eating any dairy? Any noticeable improvement? There was definitely some improvement after 3 weeks but not fully resolved. So we went back to the pedi and started her on a med (I am completely blanking right now which one). It's been 2 more weeks and things are so much better! In fact, I felt comfortable enough to start sleep training and her sleep has improved tenfold! The ped said I could start dairy again right away thinking it wasn't doing anything but I didn't want to have 2 changes at the same time. And, bc I think it was doing something, just not everything. So I'm sticking with dairy free for a little while longer. This med is soooo hard to give, I swear she spits out half of it. So I'm going back next week and may ask for the other med. Once we get her meds managed, I will try introducing some milk back to my diet. Have you started any dairy trials with M? I believe you were going to try that before trying any yourself, right? Get 1ml/tuberculin syringes and break up the dose between them. They're skinny enough that you can really it all the way to the back of cheek. Right where the hinge of the jawbone is and give it bit by bit. It's painfully slow, but was the only way we could get it all in her when we had to give the nexium. I don't miss it, but it was sooooo worth it. We'll give her dairy at 9 months, but I was already warned to not get my hopes up too high. And yup, you remembered correctly. No dairy for me until we know 100% she's ok with it. My stomach is going to hurt so bad when I finally get to consume 10 pounds of cheese at once. I am so happy that her sleep is getting better! It really makes it worth it when you can see a noticeable difference in them.

sophiegrace Was this the brother that was recently engaged? That's really annoying that you have to deal with the fallout. At least everyone else has the common curtesy to let him enjoy his wedding day/week and not complain to him right now? I'm looking for silver linings here so just tell me to F off if necessary. Yup, that's him. They got engaged two months ago after which he went away for weapons testing. Just got back this past weekend so I'm assuming with the timing he knows something is up. Maybe not though... I'll have to keep an eye on FB 😜

sophiegrace have you tried eggs again since her reaction? Or have you talked to the pedi about it yet?

sophiegrace have you tried eggs again since her reaction? Or have you talked to the pedi about it yet? Thanks for asking! They told me to take a break, make sure she doesn't get into contact with the million things that make her skin red and try again with Benadryl on hand. If it happens again off to the allergist. H and I both need updated skin tests so we should just make a family day of it and all go together.

I was a ballet dancer. I thought this was known? I did not know that! Maybe it was discussed before I came along. How awesome. For how long? I danced for 10 years (tap & jazz) and would love to get back into it.

I danced for 10 years (tap & jazz) and would love to get back into it. Let's see, I guess 27 years. I started when I was 3. I had to stop performing after I ruptured my Achilles. I tried coming back but I ended up tearing my calf twice. After that, I continued to teach & choreograph. I cut back my hours a lot after M was born. I haven't taught since I was 7 months pregnant with H.
