Oh man waitwhat, I wish it was nice enough for a long walk. We did about .5 mile last night and it was so miserable. Enjoy your pretty weather! You just need to move to the PNW already. Or at the very least buy a summer vacation home here. I wish! This is part of why we go to Colorado every summer even though it's a 2 day drive up and back.

Poor J is extremely effected(affected?) by her one shot yesterday, poor thing barely slept all night, woke up to nurse and back down. She was up for only 2 hours and now has been sleeping for 2 hours again. I can feel she has a fever, even though I gave her Tylenol before this nap.
I on the other hand, have gotten so much done, next is to switch out her bucket for her convertible seat!

I actually really enjoyed it, we went to Coeur d'Alene and it was really pretty, but I don't know how nice it would be in March. I vote Hawaii!

danib Hope he's ok. Keep us updated. He's fine. He has a rumble that sounds very similar to croup, but the doctor said it's basically all the mucus/congestion in his head echoing through his chest (because of his size). Cool mist and saline drops (and/or a snot sucker) should help.

DS2 had his 6 month shots yesterday too and also had a rough night.

In the US? With or without kids? No kids. In US, Mexico, Caribbean, or Canada. We did our honeymoon at Galley Bay in Antigua, in the BVI. It was wonderful and I'd definitely recommend it. A bit closer to home, we just did a 5-year anniversary trip to Sanibel-Captiva and it's one of my very favorite places. March-May is a great time of year to go. You could fly into Ft. Myers, FL, and then drive over the causeway to the islands. The water and beaches are pristine. We prefer Captiva, as it's a bit less developed/more natural, but both islands have amazing restaurants, cute shops, and tons to do. We stay at Tween Waters Inn, but there is everything from house/condo rentals, to small inns/hotels, to large resorts.

These poor babies with their shots I definitely just got out of my car and started walking through a parking lot before remembering that I had undone my pants while pumping.

classymrsa In the US I've only ever vacationed on the east coast so not sure how much help I'll be. I am a big fan of Savannah. It's such a beautiful, historical city with lots of good sightseeing and food. You can also venture to Tybee Island (about 30 minutes) and do a beach visit. I love Boston. One of my fave cities. The cape is great. Not sure how great it is in March though. dashook? I also love Charleston, SC. The downtown city scene is neat. A lot of markets and history there as well.

In the US? With or without kids? No kids. In US, Mexico, Caribbean, or Canada. Our trip to Oaxaca last year was pretty unforgettable, not just because I came back KU but because the food was incredible, the weather unbeatable, and there was so much to do and see--lots of shops, art, music, history, etc. I found it to be really walkable too, and outside of flights which are expensive no matter where you go, it was really affordable too.

Yeah I almost suggested the Cape but in March not so much unfortunately. Aside from cold and likely snowy weather, there just isn't a lot that stays open year round.

DH's aunt was coughing, sneezing etc at Memorial Day party on Sunday. I side-eyed her for coming to a party sick. So she says "this is just allergies." Now E & I are sick.

goldenlove they do this often. A few months ago, MIL asked to hang out with E. She sounded congested and said it was allergies. That time, E and I got a sinus infection that lasted a month. Ugh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm sorry you are also dealing with a congested, sick baby.
This is so weird for us. It's a normal baby illness. M has been miserable so back to the ped for an ear check we went. No infection but 101.9 fever. So 48 hrs of steroids and tylenol. He's so much more comfortable atm.

But both affect and effect can be a noun (affect is emotional state). My E was always so sensitive to vax. H is less affected. I hope J feels better soon.
