Ugh I'm dreading this. I'm planning on transitioning to crib for naps after thanksgiving. J loves laying in thete hanging out but won't sleep in it. Like he wakes up after 10.minutes every time. I've tried about 5 times. I'm also trying to transition from bassinet to pnp which is going better. He sleeps in the pnp for up to 2 hours at a time but I need it longer since that is foe nighttime.

I feel like anything I say is pointless with this kid 😂😭😩 but he used to nap in his crib just fine - no difference between crib and rnp or swing. Now he is hit or miss. I have been putting him to sleep in his crib every night for the last week that we’ve been home since I want to transition him and I’ve been sleeping on the futon in there since DH is on nights this week. Most I’ve gotten during day naps lately is like ten minutes. At night I get one maaaaybe two good stretches of twoish hours.
He adores his swing, too @starzia, but only on the highest settings - I slowed it down this morning in anticipation of moving him and he immediately woke up 😏

We just did it one day. She was already in the bassinet so it wasn't much different especially since she was still swaddled

We actually switched for bedtime first. We had had her in the pack and play in our room but H did some sanding work in our master bath renovation and there was dust literally everywhere in our room. So we moved her that night and she did great. Naps are hit or miss in there though.

I have been dreading the move, but I know it's coming. I actually tried a nap or two so far this week. He did okay, I got an hour of sleep and an hour of running to soothe back to sleep.
I have yet to try at night. He goes down great in the bassinet and I am afraid to change that. My DS1 was horrible, mainly becuase of the fact he slept in he RNP so the flat crib was not working for him.
I might just have to try it at night and see, especially since he does good for bedtime. I have been losing his bassinet to get him use to a flat surface again, hopefully that helps.
i think I'm nervous becuase he is a good sleeper and I don't want to ruin that. 😳

I want him to nap in crib but he naps in rnp and wakes up in crib. I'm trying to transition from bassinet to pnp first. Bassinet is on a 15 degree angle so it's slight but he's having trouble going to the pnp

A likes bath time, but almost always starts to cry once I get him out to dry off and put a diaper on. The only thing I can think of is he's cold, but our house is warm and I wrap him up right away. I tried to play music this time, but it didn't work. I guess I should just be happy he doesn't cry in the tub.
ETA: whoops, thought this was randoms.

He really likes baths but hates getting out and screams and cries even though we bundle him up.

I am not going to bother until after we are passed the 6 month regression. Plus for SIDS they recommend at least 6 months in the same room.
For my daughter we tried at 6 months, she had been napping in her crib for months but it was an epic fail because of the regression. She woke up at least 2 times a night until 1 year. We moved her at 11 months.
For him we moved him into a pack n play already, a month before her and he is already almost a full night sleeper. I just can't stress out over sleep again, plus I am hoping to get her on a toddler bed when I move him so I don't have to buy another crib.
