I did Day 67 today. I like tabata cardio SO MUCH better than the bs she had us doing before. And the short intervals kept DS's attention, so he did the workout with me instead of trying to climb me. 👍🏻

Doing doubles two days in a row is not smart. Yikes. Done with 68&69!
She's been emailing me about her 7 day Surge... I think I may do this after I'm done with 5.0. And then start 6.0 along with the ab series, while being a bit more strict with my nutrition. I feel such a difference so far without doing the ab series or really paying much attention to what I'm eating, I feel like if I did the whole package I'd feel fantastic.

I’m curious about the surge too. I will have four weeks after we finish 5.0 until my beach vacation so I’m wondering if I can just do surge for four weeks and stay on track. Then when I come back I can start something new.

I'm really liking phase 3 so far. I was so over the phase 2 moves.

My body is calling for a rest day, so I'm going to stick to yoga and an Epsom soak today. Tomorrow I'll do another tabata set and be ready to jump into next week on Tuesday.

Day 69 + C25k week 7, day 3 done. I ran outside today because the weather is absolutely perfect and it made my run so much easier.

I have the black lung this weekend, so I'm on hold until I can walk across the house without dying.
I'm thinking about doing the surge after this one is done and then doing 6.0.
She's ducking annoying, but free and 20ish minutes are totally doable for me and I'm definitely seeing results in strength and tone.
*SO sent me a sext last night when he got off work at like 3am about my tight booty! (The muscle, not the hole, filthy minds!?!)

FFSC: I don't find her that annoying anymore. I'm thinking it's Stockholm syndrome.

She’s barely talked this week and it’s amazing! I have to say that as annoying as she is, she is relatable on a level, to me anyway. Somehow I feel like I wouldn’t have kept this up if I was watching a robot who didn’t struggle with nutrition at times or have a hard time with the moves.

My mother (GM of an extremely successful gym for 30 years) is one of those "high on exercise" robot people. I'm pretty sure I gained the freshman 20 straight out of rebellion. I can handle this chick because she's real. I've also seen results in the short workouts (for which I actually have time) and don't feel judged.

Is the surge more intense than a 90 day challenge? I definitely want to have something lined up for when this is over. I did 6.0 earlier this year and I don't think I'd want to redo that starting at Day 1.

I took two rest days this week...one Friday and one today. I have a cold and my knee is bother me and I just feel like I need it right now. Went for a quick hike and did yard work today so at least I was active.
I honestly don’t mind her too much except when she’s talking about her groin pulling. Every time she does it I feel like mine is about to too even though I know it’s not. It’s not a good mental thing for me while working out.

I want to keep up where I am at. I’m struggling with trying to figure out my next step with that in mind. Like I kind of want to do Orange Theory, but I’m nervous of committing to something I can’t do at home and at 5 am. And also, I want a little something everyday (or 6 days a week).

I've been trying to figure out what to do after this, too. I want something free that I can do at home in 20-30 minutes. I already feel like I'm losing some momentum so I want to make sure I have a post BBM 5.0 plan lined up. I've done other YouTube workouts but I do like the structure of a "challenge" because it keeps me from missing day and falling behind. With that being said, I skipped a day this weekend, so I'm a day behind . Just did day 68. I'm finding her less annoying for all the same reasons, but I also keep the volume pretty low too, so I don't hear her much even when she does talk.

I bought the surge a while back. I'm vegetarian so the meal plan is useless for me. But it's only 7 days long and very intense. But she gets results. I really liked it. She wants you to wait 10 days between doing rounds of the surge so you can't do like 14 days of it back to back.

I was thinking of doing the 30 Day Shred after this is over. Any opinions on that?

I was thinking of doing the 30 Day Shred after this is over. Any opinions on that? This is on my list too because I own it and H does it often. It’s good. Very similar to what we are doing with BBM. Jillian is annoying and a witch, but it’s a good at home workout.

I was thinking of doing the 30 Day Shred after this is over. Any opinions on that? I'm a big Jillian Fan & own a lot of her DVDs. 30DS is a great workout, she explains the moves well and gives you the advanced and beginner versions of the moves. You'll also get strength, cardio & abs in one workout - so it's efficient and only 20 minutes (with the warm up & cool down it's around 30).

I hit the gym instead of doing BBM this weekend. I'm counting it as the days I "missed", and starting week 11 tomorrow.

I was thinking of doing 6.0 next, but I didn't think about the fact that Day 1 of that will not be a challenge at all. So I guess I need something different for after the surge.

I was thinking of doing the 30 Day Shred after this is over. Any opinions on that? I’m looking around his thread because I want to go here after trying on clothes yesterday. Anyway... I’ve had a lot of success with the 30ds. I forget exactly how many inches I lost when I did it last year, but I was very happy with it. Day 1-4 of each of the levels suck, they seemed so hard to me. But it’s insane how strong you get, and by the end of each level you look forward to moving onto the next one because it becomes a bit easy. It’s just very repetitive. Literally the same workout for 10 days before you get a new one.

I cannot stand Jillian. She reminds me too much of my mom.
I can handle the repetition of P90x, because it kicks my ass. The yoga is my favorite...and of course Thats the one I am missing.

Tl;Dr whinefest ahead- I took an unplanned rest day today because I can barely walk to the bathroom to pee without wanting to collapse and nap on the floor. I think I need to start the pregnancy series tomorrow and try to finish this challenge when this fatigue lets up. I'm really bummed about this, like more than I should be. I was feeling so incredible doing this challenge and I'm just not ready to accept defeat. I certainly won't be in bikini body mommy shape in Hawaii next month. I know I need to listen to my body and all that shit but my body and I were getting along for the first time in years and I'm feeling a little betrayed. I know how petty and ungrateful I sound butI'm so scared that I'll lose all motivation and be an aching, useless blob like I was in my last pregnancy.
I don't need hair pats or anything I just needed to offload some craxly pregly feelings.
