chrisy01 I can't remember the letters you eliminated but here are some that remind me of Emma Evelyn nn Evie Margaret/Meg Cora Nora Fiona Katherine Hadley Hallie Lucy Penelope nn penny Esther nn Essie Maybe look at a pottery Barn kids category? The names of furniture are typically girl name. Obviously I'm a big fan of the first name listed. I didn't realize when we named evie after h's grandma, her name was actually Eveline. I wish we had used it instead, do be a little different.

chrisy01 what about classic (?) Names like Jennifer, Michelle, Lori (might be cute with LO), Elizabeth, Mary I love Michelle. It's my MIL's name. I'm a pretty big fan of this name as well...for reasons known.

Do you know how Evelyn is prnounced? Ev-e is like the first part of Evelyn-E. Eve-e is like Adam and Eve-e. If that makes sense haha

Long E, like evening, evaluation etc. Short E like egg or test. That why I figured Effie (as in steffi Graf) or Evie (as in Adam and Eve). But I guess not? Watching a you tube video tonight.

This is probably the best description. We go by EEEEEEEEE V Like saying We without the W Not Eh V But I'm sure if English isn't your first language, the different pronunciations are confusing.

It isn’t my first language, but have been learning for 20 odd years, took courses in Chicago (Perdue) and did my masters in English, so I should be able to pronounce this correctly 😂😂😂.

Yes, that is right. But you wouldn’t pronounce the V like an F. I don’t think I could teach English as a second language.
