Morning! B is at school so C and I are out doing some errands. I’m worried that the outfit I had picked out for her for our family pics this weekend is too “much”, so looking for a back up. 🙄 Picture!

When y’all say to take her in, do you mean back to the pedi or to urgent care? I don’t really want to go back to the pedi for him to tell me the exact same thing as yesterday, KWIM? Is she holding down anything at all? Or when was the last time she did? She has t kept anything g down this morning. She ate lunch & dinner yesterday. The pedi told me to call him if she gets any worse. It’s just weird to me that it only affects her in the mornings.

tgrimes, it won't help with the vomitting but maybe heat up a damp towel to give her as a hotpad on her tummy. I sometimes get GI distress from muscle contractions and that seems to help relax the muscles. I hope you can get something just by calling the dr.

That’s awful about poor M tgrimes! I’m agreeing w everyone else about watching for dehydration. Did your pedi mention that at all yday. The couple times I’ve called or taken my kids in for vomiting, they always mention that to me. Poor girl.

Night PT- B has been doing great for months. So much so that we were doing underwear a few nights. (She wasn’t quite ready for that). But now, the last 2 weeks, she is waking up wet pretty much 80% of mornings. And a few of those mornings, she wakes up asking to go potty.
I don’t give her anything to drink after dinner and she always potties right before bedtime. I don’t know how she has so much pee.

wedding, have fun at the event today! I don’t think I could handle the escape room - I get pretty bad claustrophobia. I hope you all get out fast! 😰

It feels like Monday since I was off yesterday. I keep getting happy when I look at the calendar and realize it's Friday lol. Also going to a Stella and Dot party tonight thrown by BIL's GF. IDK what it is but a couple hours without my kids with adults sounds pleasant. Also I'm nosey and want to see my BIL and her new place lol.

tgrimes I wouldn’t bring her back in because it sounds like they are going to do anything anyway. If she keeps vomiting and isn’t peeing/pooping I’d bring her to the ER for fluids.

I can’t remember if I mentioned to you guys that both girls have fevers. H has had hers since wed, but no other symptoms, S’s started this morning and she was coughing a couple of times last night . I sent a message to the pedi and they want to see H. I bet I get told to just monitor and I’m wasting my time.

She can’t keep the zofran down, or anything else for that matter. Do they make zofran in suppository form? I think so. I think one of the N13s had to use it before. Maybe lfig? Good memory!! Yes! I don’t remember if it was Zofran or something else. But it was supposed to calm the stomach. And it was way easier to give than orally.

If it wouldn't delay my house any more I would stop this mortgage process and go to another freaking bank. The closing cost discount is nice but WTF. I'm ready to kill their underwriting department. I feel like I should get a little leeway being an employee and not put through the frickin wringer for every single tiny detail! UGGGHHH!!! I'm so sick of this shit. Luckily I don't have to disclose to them that I didn't get retained. Everyone warmed me about contractors when we did our house. He was great, the bank was the cause of every setback.

tgrimes I would do the ER over Urgent Care. They can run labs and give an IV if needed.

joelies how is Colin doing with night training? All of the sudden C is waking dry most mornings and he is really invested in staying dry. This morning he was wet and was so upset, which is a change from the zero effs he gave before. I'm hopeful we are nearing the end of pull ups. We're in a holding pattern. He may wake up dry for a day or 2 in a row, then wake up soaked for a week. I'm just not worrying about it, which is SO MUCH easier now that DH has unclenched.

nam2013 Dude has been night-trained for awhile now but I really don't think it's the norm for boys. We have friends with 5 year-olds who still sleep in pull-ups. I had no intention of night-training at all but he insisted and I figured it was worth a shot. It's been probably 5-6 months and we've only had three accident. If he asks to go to bed with underwear I would let him try it, otherwise I'd wait it out.

I'm at the office, waiting to hear from DH after I insisted that Chase see a doctor about his cough. His fits while lying down are insane, I don't remember either of them ever sounding so bad. I was going to stay home and take him in myself but DH insisted. And brought him into daycare for a couple hours?! He's so convinced that it's just congestion but I'm going to feel awful if he's actually sick and contagious. Anyhow the appointment was 45 minutes ago and I'm getting anxious.

Hi, Happy Friday!
Busy couple days around here, trying to get as much done with both kids at daycare before I go back to work. Julia is doing awesome in daycare; doesn’t cry at all, plays independently and waves to all the parents coming and going with their own kids, naps and eats well. I’m so relieved.
My SIL is here for B’s party tomorrow so we’re hanging out today and getting her presents for the birthdays.
Oh and it’s officially winter, to which B exclaimed ‘YES! I’ve been waiting for this’.

Cadence wore her Elena nightgown to school today. She doesn't wear it as a nightgown, more of a dress up dress. I just didn't feel like battling with her over it. If her teachers want her to change I sent spare pants for her.
