I finished last night. I can't see anyway that her death wasn't directly related to the abuse. Also I wished they brought in the info about the dentist earlier, again I have questions.

I just finished it and I want more.
Sandra May should be ashamed of herself. Honestly.
Anyone else think Skippy could be Brother Bob? Jean always said she was scared of him the most and then the incident with Skippy following Billy's SIL made me wonder if they're the same person with two different aliases. I mean, he obviously had that fascination with the Catholic Church so it's not that hard of a leap to think he could refer to himself as Brother Bob.

I think Sandra May is a dirty liar.
I also think the roommate might have had something to do with it. She looks like a shady nun.

It's strange that Koob and his friend said they went to Cathy's apartment from two different places.
And wtf to Koob saying the cop put her vagina on the table in a newspaper?!

Just finished.
The theory about the person who drove with 2 feet because mud was on one peddle and not the other was pretty damning.... especially since Edgar admitted he drove with 2 feet. I mean, that's pretty rare.
If he did take part in it I wonder how he knew Maskell (assuming it wasn't a random murder which I don't believe at all) or any other connection to the church. I dont believe he didn't remember the necklace.
I really hope this documentary solves this case. So much fuckery.

I just finished. I want to know what happened!
I think even if we never find out the exact person that gave the final blow, the point is that the archdiocese is largely to blame for what happened. They are acting in total self-interest and re-victimizing people. I mentioned it in another thread but this whole documentary is so reminiscent of residential schools, where this exact scenario played out for decades, across the entire country. This is why I really strongly believe the church is to blame here. It was so systemically present throughout so many places, with stories like this. (Part of my work has me speaking to survivors often and I have lost so much sleep on some descriptions alone). It has really jaded me, some stories so difficult that even a mention of this one kid's name has me instantly crying. So I just can't. The church has been proven to be involved in this all along.
*my mom's side is catholic and I have a lot of catholic family. I really have no problem with the beliefs. It's the power structure that has been incredibly corrupt.

I didn't start sobbing until we see the dentist's and Jean's live reactions to hearing an utter lie from the church. His face just set me off.
To be a victim, think the church does something at least partially in your favor, and then to hear them discredit you. It was too much for me.

It is so, so unfortunate the amount of people that went to their grave with paramount information.
Edgar was definitely involved.
I swear, the only moment I felt a small shred of justice is when it was proven that maggots could have been there.
So depressing. I hope this national coverage will light a fire under someone's ass. I am hopeful. That last investigator for the county seemed set on trying hard. The disappointment on his face when they discussed the letter from Cathy to her sister missing was palpable.

I just finished last night. It was awful that the Archdiocese outright lied.
In episode 5 with the mannequin wearing the nun get up completely freaked me out.
I definitely think Edgar had something to do with it, as he seems so sketchy.

I'm just watching. I didn't know this was a true crime. I kept hearing people say graphic and I assumed a horror show.
I didn't find it graphic but it could be my line of work.
I'm consumed. Only on episode 3.

How does Sharon May sleep at night? I have such a different view of Baltimore based on how the city handled everything They have a long history of police corruption overall.
