Yes. FYI there are triggers in it for sexual abuse. But it's so good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was thinking about starting this but I keep hearing how graphic it is and I don't know that I can do that before bedtime and still get a good night's sleep

I think the guy they interviewed during the documentary knows more than he said. Crazy stuff.

I started it a few days ago and I'm not sure I'm going to finish. I want to know what happens but I feel like there is a lot of time spent detailing the abuse and it feels... like a lot. Maybe that's appropriate, maybe it's not.. but I feel like it easily could have been 5 episodes instead of 7.

Do y'all think Koob was involved?
And who was Brother Bob? Maskell's brother maybe?

I know they tested Maskell's DNA and it wasn't a match to DNA found on her body, but I have a feeling he was involved somehow.

Do y'all think Koob was involved? And who was Brother Bob? Maskell's brother maybe? I didn't get a vibe about Koob being involved. Maybe because of how he reacted to seeing the ring he had given her?! He truly seemed to be shocked that it was found, but not the "oh, shit" sort of shocked. Brother Bob... I don't know. I feel likeaybe that was another member of the church or possibly the archdiocese.

I was shocked when they suggested Koob could have something to do with it. I didn't get that at all from him. I wish the other priest who was with him that night had agreed to be interviewed.

I'm very skeptical of that other family with the uncle who lived in her building. Their story doesn't seem to fit. How could she be killed in the apartment if the roomate was home?

@twoscoops yes! I thought that too. The nephew of Billy said they wrapped her in a rug from her apartment and took her out from there. That makes no sense and doesn't fit with what actually happened. I don't understand where his story is coming from.

I don't think Koob was involved. I think that was just a salacious addition to the narrative.

Finished it last weekend.
Hard to watch but after the first 2-3 episodes it is not quite as difficult because they start to discuss the coverup and murder more than graphic details about the abuse.

I just finished episode 5.
I feel really weird about it because I am familiar with the area, but had no idea that Baltimore was so Catholic. I am taking off my tin foil hat right now, but I think that the murder was a situation of chance and may not have had anything to do with the other things happening. Oh- I just noticed that episode 6 is called the web, perhaps my opinion will change.
That being said, I'm mostly pissed that these teenagers were/ are being subjected to such abuse. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see more people coming forward in light of the documentary.

Just got through ep 2 last night. Honestly, this is moving a little slow for me. I'm going to power through and stick w it though as I want to know more of the murder and cover up.
I feel so sad for these girls that were sexually abused and were too fearful to say anything.

I watched the first 2 episodes yesterday and it was very hard to get through. I feel so awful for those women. I'm all in on this show now and fully invested in the story.

yummeecookee - After the 2nd episode, it gets more into the investigation and the players versus the abuse, so I think it picks up a good bit. The first two episodes were difficult.

How does Sharon May sleep at night? I have such a different view of Baltimore based on how the city handled everything

The whole thing made me so uncomfortable. FWIW, I think Maskell ordered it because he knew Cathy knew about the abuse, but didn't want to get his own hands dirty (well, dirtier than they already were). I think Brother Bob was definitely involved, and the guy from the bar fight knew him well enough to help him move the body or clean up the initial crime scene. I feel like that necklace is both completely circumstantial and damning at the same time. Like, there doesn't seem to be any proof she bought it, but everyone who knew her is convinced it's absolutely the kind of thing she would get as a gift.
I agree I don't think the neighbor was involved but that image of the dummy wearing the nun's habit creeped the hell out of me.
