I know a lot of us have older kids. Show off their costumes! DD was Elsa tonight...the wig stayed on long enough to take the picture.

Hooray for family costumes! We went super DIY this year, but I thought it was fun. Bonus: toddler didn't know he was wearing a costume because it was just a shirt with an iron-on.

My kids were supposed to be their favorite treats for Halloween. DS cooperated and wore his costume. He was such a good sport about it. DD1, who was supposed to be a donut, refused to wear her costume and ended up wearing her dress-up butterfly costume (that we already had) instead. DD2, who was supposed to be a chocolate chip cookie, followed DD1's lead and also refused her costume. She ended up wearing DD1's old bumblebee costume instead. I had to tell her it was just a hooded sweatshirt and not a costume. Once my younger ones got over the drama of it all, they had fun.

sweetc129, thank you for helping me figure out what a little girl handing out treats last night was dressed as. She was in the red costume, but without her mask. I was confused.

Love the costumes! I’m bummed I didn’t get to see many last night. We had 5 small groups of TOT-ers. Womp. Now I have a large bowl of candy that I will undoubtedly eat bc I have maximum sweet tooth.

DD got really excited when our first trick or treaters came to the door. She helped pass out candy before we left. We left a bowl of kit kats on our porch when we left, but I don't think we had anymore kids come. That's pretty much why I always make sure to buy Halloween candy that I like.

Shoot. I didn’t see this yesterday! G dressed as a raincloud: It started raining, then snowing so we only went to 6 houses.
