If people were influenced by a picture of Hilary Clinton fighting jesus, I can only imagine how hard reality will be to discern with shit like this in play. Post-truth world.

Related to this discussion: It's shocking to me how often I semi-quote Jurassic Park these days. Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Good Morning,
I am finishing up the second hearing. I find it really funny that congressmen think that we are at that stage where they think social media can predict what people are having for dinner or who his depressed. We aren't quite there yet. Though computer learning growing we are not there yet. I do agree that the CEOs should be in the hearing dealing with these issues as they should be the ones who know exactly what is going on throughout the company. I don't find anything really shocking in these hearings as I feel as though the companies are right where I think they should be. They are being pressured by a single government for companies that are world wide. Though I do agree that political ads should not be able to be placed on social media paid for by outside of said country actors. They also should be disclosing who is paying for the ad. I am enjoying this conversation though.

Tom Cotton toward Twitter
I'm sorry but being a world wide company it would be biased if they did. Though they are based in the US they must apply all policies globally for consistent and fair use to all users.

yeah Clint Watts straight up told SSCI that back when he first testified on the Hill. I think it was Chairman Burr who asked him why the active measures were so effective and he literally said, "Because the now Commander in Chief was repeating their messages."

Clint Watts was on Opposition Report last night but I fell asleep before Jordan Klepper interviewed him.

I am pretty sure Tom Cotton is a Republican robot.
