Thanks trtlcrzy. I know it's early, but I have some concerns about B. He really still has no words (he'll be 15 months next week). He says dada, but dada is everything. His lunch, a window, etc. He's still barely walking. And he just seems, I don't know, different, then I remember from that age. His BMB didn't move here so I have nothing to compare him to, but I feel like he's behind where he should be. Did he have EI issues? I’d just keep an eye on him and bring it up at his 18m appt. FWIW I don’t think S had many words at 15m either and that’s when she started walking.

trtlcrzy, he actually has a 15 month appt in a few weeks and I will definitely bring it up then. He's never had an ear infection (that I know of... S never had symptoms of an ear infection but had 2 that I found out about when at the pedi for something else, so... maybe?) If I'm honest, I've felt there might be something off for a while. I did bring it up at his 9 month appt and his dr didn't seem concerned. I don't know. I guess I'll see what she says. It's so damn easy to spiral out on reading what they "should" be doing. And to look back at what his brother was doing at each age and see such differences.

jewels I’m sorry. Evals are free through birth to 3, so if you feel like it would give you peace of mind I’d look into it.

Cher I’m sorry. Can you replicate any of the conditions that are in Florida? Crank the heat in your house, run a salty humidifier, something? I hope he chills soon.

tgrimes omg that looks sooo good. Please have 2. wineallthetime yes, that happened to me a lot this pregnancy. It’s gotten better but first tri pretty much every time I went from sitting to standing I’d get super dizzy/lightheaded. Ok, thank you for helping me feel better even though Google tells me it's normal! If I stand up quickly everything almost goes black for a second. I thought maybe I wasn't eating enough, but I'm pretty sure I am! I had it with both pregnancies. It was blood sugar related. Everything would turn white. Protein always helped. Keep nuts or cheese in your bag.

And I'm not even making the comparison to Josie because I can't remember when she started doing what. Some days I think Charlie is just fine and other times he feels like such a baby to me that I think he has to be behind the curve.

Was anyone else dizzy/lightheaded in early pregnancy? Especially after you stand up or make sudden movements. Google tells me it's normal, but I've never had that before this pregnancy so it still kinda freaks me out (hello there anxiety). I’ve had this with dd, made me nauseous from time to time too. Very annoying and scary, but apparently common and harmless. Fluids and food always seem to help and to just do everything slower in general which is very easy with a toddler around 😉.

jewels I’m sorry. language wise dd is developing very different from ds. Ds was way ahead of the curve dd is normal, but feels behind because of ds. Keep in mind that the normal range is very big at this age, but also follow your gut. It can never hurt to have a expert evaluation, even if it’s just to give you some peace of mind.

Cher - where in FL were you? We are going to Singer Island by West Palm in December. I can't wait. I am not looking forward to the flight with B, however. We did not get him a seat, and he HATES being restrained, so holding him for 2.5/3 hours should be super fun. All he wants to do is crawl everywhere. Should be interesting...

Apparently I am a PW today. I bough S this easel for his birthday and had it in the basement. He saw it yesterday so we gave it to him early. He played with it for over an hour. It's dry erase on one side and a magnadoodle thing on the other. He drew "portraits" of each of us, played with the magnetic letters , etc. It was amazing. I recommend.

I’m always scared to text her because I don’t know if she’ll be sleeping or not, with her crazy hours. How old is he now and how much does he weigh? He’ll be one next week an he is 20.5 lbs. Also, hi!

nam2013 happy Birthday to your cutie! peachsmama hope you start feeling relieved. It all seems to be working out even though today was tough. I was woken up by a chainsaw last night which was super creepy Halloween week. A tree fell across the main road and the fire department was cutting it up.

My poor Dude was so sad because he couldn't have the cupcakes that his best friend's mom brought in for his going away party Friday. I really wish I knew about this stuff in advance so I could have something there for him.
His teacher couldn't eat them either since she has an egg allergy so I guess they say together and had juice and chips while Atticus pouted. I feel so sad for him.

We're celebrating Dude's birthday tonight since tomorrow will be all about Halloween.
I'm on my way to his school with some cupcakes so he can celebrate with his class.

I got groceries, unloaded stuff at storage and found my coat, cooked and pureed 2 pie pumpkins, prepped dinner, started dinner, got the furance fixed and went and got the boys. Now I'm watching my nephews and hoping I can get a workout in before dinner. I really suck at relaxing.. But I did get greys and one criminal minds in while the pumpkin was cooking.
Also, I had my coat dry cleaned at the end of winter. But then I put it in storage so now it smells musty. So I have to get it cleaned again. Ugh.
