Hey ladies. DH got called off work today so he’s home. I spent the morning cleaning because we had some people from birth to 3 come over to do a screen on S. She’s borderline with her speech and gross motor so they suggested monitoring until after her birthday. Since DH is home I’m going to run out and get my flu shot.

The electric companies website says to expect power to return November 1st at 7pm. I'm hoping this is gross overestimatation since I saw crews working when I was out earlier. I am missing the city right now.

Hey girls! We're back from vacation. I need to get my life in order. Get my house cleaned up, get back to eating right and working out. Why is it so hard?

Was anyone else dizzy/lightheaded in early pregnancy? Especially after you stand up or make sudden movements. Google tells me it's normal, but I've never had that before this pregnancy so it still kinda freaks me out (hello there anxiety).

I always had emergency snacks in my bag just in case. And i would drink a lot of water. Be safe, it's a bit unnerving.

Ok, thank you for helping me feel better even though Google tells me it's normal! If I stand up quickly everything almost goes black for a second. I thought maybe I wasn't eating enough, but I'm pretty sure I am!

Happy Birthday to your sweet big boy nam2013!! peachsmama I’m sorry about the emotions of getting the letter. But glad it’s out of the way now and you can move on and plan appropriately! wineallthetime I hope the lightheaded/dizziness moves on soon! I was thinking it sounded kinda BP related like goldi said.

Whew, busy weekend! I’m kinda glad it’s Monday and I’m back to work. I’m so behind on some things that it’s hard to enjoy the weekend when I feel like there is stuff looming over me unfinished. I’m hoping to get caught up this week!
This weekend we were down in AR at MH’s business. One of my BFF’s came with us to help us with some work we were doing on the property and to just get away for the weekend. She is newly divorced and her ex had her daughter. One of MH’s clients came by for a few hours with his girlfriend. The next morning he was texting MH that our friend was really cute, and he hoped he would get the chance to hang out with her again. Said to tell her he said so too. MH was just trying to play him off, change the subject, etc. but the dude kept going back to it. Nothing says sexy like a guy that introduces his girlfriend one day and does that the next 🙄.

wineallthetime - I had major dizzy spells during my first pregnancy and even passed out cold in Customs around 8 weeks. That was... disgusting, among other things. Eww lfig, he sounds like a real catch.

I’m always scared to text her because I don’t know if she’ll be sleeping or not, with her crazy hours. How old is he now and how much does he weigh?

trtlcrzy, if you don't mind me asking, how old is she now? And how/when did you decide to get her evaluated? Was it at the suggestion of your pedi?

Google tells me it's normal, but I've never had that before this pregnancy so it still kinda freaks me out (hello there anxiety). I had that frequently throughout my pregnancies, usually when getting up from laying down. My doctor said to just go slower. Eta: one weird thing I had with S is I’d randomly get hot flashes. I had a nurse at work check my BP a couple times when it happened but my BP was normal. So weird.

trtlcrzy, if you don't mind me asking, how old is she now? And how/when did you decide to get her evaluated? Was it at the suggestion of your pedi? 20 months as of 3 days ago. I decided to get her evaluated because she doesn’t say many words and compared to the other kids on her bmb she seems behind. She has less than 10 words I’d guess, definitely not stringing any words together. At her 18m appt I brought it up to her pedi and he said we could get an eval if I wanted but he wasn’t concerned yet. I just decided to do it a couple of weeks ago because it’s free and I’d rather be proactive than waiting to see what happens, kwim? Today was just a screening, and because she was borderline they gave me the option of moving on to eval or wait and watch. She said if she fails the eval they have to wait 6 months before they can do another one, so she suggested waiting until after her birthday.

Just got done with my flu shot. It’s 33 degrees out and there are tiny little snowflakes flying around. If I wasn’t outside in it I wouldn’t be able to even see them.

Thanks trtlcrzy. I know it's early, but I have some concerns about B. He really still has no words (he'll be 15 months next week). He says dada, but dada is everything. His lunch, a window, etc. He's still barely walking. And he just seems, I don't know, different, then I remember from that age. His BMB didn't move here so I have nothing to compare him to, but I feel like he's behind where he should be.

I'm sorry, Cher . I know some people love newborns but to me, those first few months are the hardest, and that's without colic. I hope it passes soon.
