Girls love to eat and not burp at night. Plus, DH goes back to work tomorrow ( really today), so I am flying solo for the first time.
Thankfully, the World Series is interesting and there's Netflix to keep me awake during feeds.

DS is 2.5, but we're fortunate and can keep him at school while I'm with the girls. Also, DNW to lose his spot - we were on the daycare waiting list for s long time before getting in. And I feel for you re: baby congestion- it's so sad for them to be stuffy!

Team no sleep here too. DS2 was a little gassy earlier and only wanted to be held. It took me almost two hours to get him to sleep. He's up again to eat now of course.

The like is for support/ solidarity- have not slept yet, minus 15 minutes on the couch. DH and I have a better plan fir tomorrow night. Needless to say, I will need all the coffee.

H has forgotten how demanding night times can be. He's grumbling to himself each time she wakes up.
Was triggering me last night and had to stop from snapping.
Like dude we've done this before you can't have just forgotten what it was like.
Her Moses basket is on his side, so when it's my turn (we are currently doing every other) I ask him to get her out for me and grab the stuff on the side.
Grumble grumble grumble
I just get on with it, the baby needs feeding and changing, get on with it. He will get used to it, but he better hurry up

No sleep for me. I think I’ve gotten probably a total of maybe 5 hours since Sunday when I was admitted. I’m hoping being home starting tomorrow will make taking naps during the day easier.

Just finished everyone’s shirts and as soon as Below Deck is over, I’m hoping I can fall asleep.

Awake with mild contractions. Anyone have a good timer app? I'm not liking the ovia one, it keeps stopping the timer when my screen times out.

I’m using Full Term and mrspiatt said that is what she uses too. At first I wasn’t following how it was tracking, but I think I get it now. And my back is so sore tonight. I’m struggling to get comfortable. Plus H is snoring like a buzzsaw.

It is so hard to sleep in the hospital since they are always coming in to check on you. I hope you can get some sleep soon!

W spit up while we were sleeping and I didn't hear it. It didn't seem to bother her since she didn't wake us up about it. But I still feel bad. The back of her head is so crusty now.

That's the worst- you're so tired but can't get good sleep. For some reason, my pain meds abs vitals were always at 5 am.

librarylady, that’s exactly it. They’re completely by in constantly to check on me or E or talk to my h and I about something, so even when she has good sleeping stretches during the day, I can’t sleep. The good news is that she slept almost 3 hours from 2-4:45, so I got a little rest.

I've eaten quite a bit of candy during motn feedings tonight lol. Sorry not sorry ds1. We also have a ton leftover but not as much as the year I bought two giant bags to give out. Oh well, it's hard to figure out how much to get. I'm gonna be sad taking down our halloween decorations today.

Halloween in my neighborhood is always nuts, so I buy a lot of candy, but usually end up with some left over. I’m glad we knew we wouldn’t be home this year because if I was going home to Halloween candy today, that’d be bad. lol My body is trying to compensate for the lack of sleep by making me feel starving all the time, I think.

I have one called Contraction Timer from the app store/Google play. It runs in the back ground when your phone goes to sleep and as I recently found out, will show up on you lock screen showing it still counting with a stop button.

As predicted, ds2 woke up as soon as the movie ended. I've fed him, changed him, and burped him. He's still awake and gassy. I'm about to go give him to dh and make him deal. I need to sleep.

W got her lip and tongue tie fixed yesterday. I'm not looking forward to all the after care involved the next 7-10 days. Also I've been holding her upright for 20 mins after each feed. Fell asleep in bed holding her up for almost two hours tonight. Unhappy with that because we aren't set up to cosleep. I just haven't been able to stay awake tonight. I'm holding her up again and feel pretty awake now. She has been in my arms, sleeping name awake for three hours now.

I seriously don't remember being this sleep deprived with my first. I think it's bc he was bottle fed so dh could do night feedings too. I legit walked the baby upstairs and was like, "bring him to me when he needs food" and walked back downstairs lol. DH said that DS2 slept for a short amount of time, but only wants to be held. I got ds2 to eat a bit off each side before he fell asleep on me ... so a tiny bit of relief?

grumpycat with my first I would just keep sleeping all day when the baby slept. Some days I wouldn't even start the day until 1pm. Now, I have a toddler so....although I have been lucky that MH works from home and has been doing most toddler duty. But still. I haven't been sleeping during the day so that makes these nights just get harder and harder.

We are having a repeat of last night minus the chunk of sleep he did while I watched the hallmark movie. There's been no chunk of sleep except when he sleeps on me. So this should be fun.

I'm sorry. I'm up waiting for my unisom to kick in. Hoping to sleep. Annoyed by my postponement but oh well. More time with my family is nice.
