I have been doing a small amount of research on what skincare is ok to use during pregnancy. I found the normal no retinol, no salicylic acid, and no BHA. Is there any other big NO NO's I'm missing? Are there any makeup products you steer clear of? TIA

To be honest, I have never paid attention to it. I use G baby wash on my face (I know that sounds weird but it makes my skin look good) and oil of Olay moisturizer. 🤷🏻♀️

I used all of my normal acne products through my last pregnancy and my OB was fine with it.

I'm a consultant w Rodan & Fields and some of our products have retinol-- the general word is to check wth your doctor on it, some women use it while pregnant & some don't. I personally am avoiding the products with retinol but I know not everyone does.

I'm on their teeny bopper line unblemish and this microderm scrub and she said it's all good. I'm very happy with the line!

I love the MD scrub...ya there's really like two products with retinol (one part of the reverse line & one part of the redefine) so that's nice I can just keep doing what I'm doing!

I recently read an article about a 2009 study commissioned by the EWG, that found over 200 industrial chemicals in the cord blood of newborn babies. 😳 There are so many chemicals in everything. And nearly everything you put on your skin can get absorbed into your bloodstream.

I didn't check with my doctor since I am AMA and am trying to do everything by the book.
