guster everyone is still in bed here too, enjoying the news and hot coffee in peace! Made my list of everything I need to do today. Now to find the motivation.

C was a cranky mess yesterday and MH kept him out at a party til midnight last night (midnight!). I'm up with L and heard C get up, but I really hope he climbed in bed with MH and went back to sleep. E couldn't stay awake til midnight...she would crawl up somewhere and fall asleep! I'm shocked C did! Sounds like they had tons of activities going. MH said he turned into a total nightmare. I'm surprised he didn't leave then, but whatever.

Good morning. I'm laying in bed. Boys at hockey and DD's asleep. We turned down 2 invitations today because I really need a day off. We will probably carve pumpkins, clean, food shop, and go get some baby essentials. Last night DH asked what I want to name the baby. I said I stopped thinking of names because he was going to do that. He said there isn't one. Now I have a nameless baby with 3 pairs of pjs, 2 onesies, and whatever gear my sister dropped off. DH also thinks he's going to the west coast when I'm 37 weeks. 2 out of 3 kids were born by then so he can stay home or my 7 year old can attend my csection while my 10 year old watches T.

Everyone is still sleeping. I've had warm coffee and silence two mornings in a row! This does not compute. How do I get my kid to sleep past 6 or even until 6?

I was talking to friends yesterday who said their 4 year old got up really early, like 6am, because he went to bed soooo early the night before. I asked what time he had gone to bed, 10:30! That was a really early bedtime for him. I can't imagine, 10:30 is a late bedtime for me haha.

I turn on the tv in my bedroom for him and roll back over. I think I'm cranky this morning after taking a little nyquil last night to stop me sneezing.

I'm with you, we call it a night at 10.

Does anyone talk to SVnumbers? I know she hasn't been around for a long time, like before we moved here, but I miss seeing pictures of/hearing about her twins.

We have to get up so early during the week, she'd be a complete mess. Considering she's normally up at 530 during the week, I'm lucky if she sleeps till 6 on the weekends. I tell myself I'm training her to be a morning person, and it will be beneficial to her as she gets older. I am decidedly NOT a morning person, and I've always been envious of those that are.

Morning! I should be getting ready for work but I'm stalling. Not feeling the greatest. I work today and Monday, have the next two days off then work Thursday then off for 3 days. November starts my using my vacation time time. I've been talking about this for months and S and J both seemed shocked when they saw the schedule come out.

Weekends Cadence will usually sleep until 730-8. During the week we get her up at 7 since I need to do her hair before I leave for work.
Bedtimes, yeah that's a crap shoot. At the latest she'll be asleep by 10-1030. I prefer 9.

Headed to Starbucks, then to run some errands. Later we are headed to another festival. I'm going to Halloween this kid out. 😉 This one is at a church and will have a pumpkin patch, so I'll finally get some pumpkin pictures.
I also need to finish my costume and fix the issues I found with Cadence's. I imagine mh will carve their pumpkin today, but I don't know how involved Cadence will want to be. Last year it was zero.

Morning! I’m the only one up so I’m drinking my coffee, catching up here and reading my book. We’re probably just staying in today so I’ll finish the rest of the smoothies. I’m interested to see what my dad’s face looks like today.

tgrimes I hope M is feeling better today. When do you head back home? I hope your dad is recovering well. I fly back tomorrow morning. So far, M hasn’t gotten sick today. She’s had some zofran and a little dry cereal. Did I tel y’all MH’s coworker gave us some electric toy car things? A Barbie Jeep and a lightening McQueen car. We put them in the garage. Well, MH went in thereafter their walk yesterday and lifted up the garage door, not thinking, so M saw it. He told her it was a gift for her birthday. Today she is requesting to “ride the big car because it will make me feel better.”

The girls are rarely up on their own before 7:30. But they don't get up until around 7 on weekdays and go to bed between 8-9. Cass is almost always ready for bed around 8 and asks to go. Maddie would stay up until midnight if we let her.

I don't know why I thought yesterday would be relaxing, it was busy but good. Farmer's market happened to be having a trick-or-treat event and afterwards we went to my works trunk-or-treat and they scored a ton of booty--toys, blankets, school supplies. Then we went to Cassie's school carnival. Lots of fun.
Today we might play laser tag.

Add me to team never has any motivation to do anything around the house. It feels pointless with how quickly my family trashes it.
My husband is almost always ready first because I exercise in the morning. But then he'll be hollering at everyone that we need to go while we're all ready to head out the door and he's running around doing good knows what. 😒

H seems to take after me in regards to sleep, so night owl. She’s stayed up till midnight a few times and would keep going if I let her, happy as a clam. We do not let her though, 8:30-9 is bedtime. S takes after DH in sleep habits and wakes up early, and I’m not a fan.

Today I’ve done 4 soups & 3 smoothies. His bruising & swelling is much worse since we got home. The dr said it’d be like that though. We can at least understand him a bit better today. He has top & bottom dentures and probably won’t be able to wear them for 3 weeks. His mouth is much smaller now and they don’t want him to rio any stitches. We’re watching the Astros game and he’s rooting against me so I’m giving him a hard time. You're such a good daughter. Ha ha ha, thanks. If it was up to my mother, he’d only be drinking the same protein shake for the next 3 weeks.

I was going to do a ghost theme for trunk or treat at school using the leftover stuff but I changed my mind to a "teddy bear costume picnic ". We are doing a dry run this morning in E's room and I'm so glad he is occupied since it is 27 outside
