My house is a wreck. I have no desire to clean, especially since it will just get messed up again by mh and Cadence. So I'm watching mindless tv while I lay on the couch. Pretty sure Jessa Duggar actually feels the same way and isn't really glued to her kids. Eta. I feel like you most nights and my house still didn't look like hers.

So all day my kid has been called "sweetie" and "little girl" all day long thanks to his man buns and red hockey sweatshirt. The sweetie bothers me the most even if it is coming from women too. Is there a term like this for boys that is commonly used? I don't think I ever use sweetie.

A visitor got stuck in one of our elevators. That would freak me out so badly.

Hi ladies. I've been feeling crappy all day today. Dh was super sweet and took care of LO until he left for work. Now we're in line to get CFA.

I've called LO sweetie. It's also the term I used when I didn't know if a little kid was a boy or a girl to not offend.

I’ve been making soups & smoothies since we got home.
I also finished off a block of manchego & a Pinot Noir.
It’s only 5:25 here.

Are you sleeping any better at night? I'm much better with my illness. I only cough occasionally. It's my MS. It decided today that all food is evil. I'm not surprised I dealt with this with LO. I'm either further along (which I sort of hope) or this time will be worse.

My brother, SIL and oldest nephew came over earlier and watched the kstate/ku game. So I've had too much to drink.
After my grandma passed away, my dad brought me a storage tote full of pictures, old pics, pics of my cousins, family pics, etc. My dad went through it, as well as one of my aunts, but it's a shit load of pics.
I have a cousin who is super fucking annoying...totally avoid him at any get together...who is very into ancestry and would LOVE to get his hands on them. But I also feel like the entire family deserves to see them.
So as me and my brother were going through them, my SIL suggested a private FB group for family and posting a pic a day. My annoying cousin is ALL over it, but I know at least everyone is seeing things, so I feel good about it.
There are also items I think should go to a historical society, it's a lot of cool stuff.

I was reading the lularoe thread on parenting yesterday and ended up getting sucked into this blog about a woman’s experience in selling for a makeup brand that was a pyramid scheme. I literally just finished. Here’s the link if you are curious. ellebeaublog.com/poonique/Anyway, how’s your dad tgrimes? I hope M feels better soon. Im glad you are hanging in there with so much going on. nam2013 How was the party? What were people’s reactions to your house? Are we gonna see before/after pics soon? My kitchen will probably never be done enough for after pics since the rest of the work lies on MH’s shoulders (his doing). And he can’t ever get anything done with the kids around, so he always says. Ugh

We can at least understand him a bit better today. He has top & bottom dentures and probably won’t be able to wear them for 3 weeks. His mouth is much smaller now and they don’t want him to rio any stitches. We’re watching the Astros game and he’s rooting against me so I’m giving him a hard time.

You know what makes a haunted hayride suck? No hayride. Ended up they were haunted trails and we had to walk. It also wasn't scary. Cadence loved it, of course. Especially when the actors came right up to her and talked to her. She thought it was funny. Part of the trail had giant spiders with skulls heads. Her response: oh my gosh, these are soooo cute! A woman was rather shocked/appalled."did she say they were cute???" Yep. That's my kid.

klong11 how do they call it a hayride then? Did it just breakdown and they didn't want to do a refund?

klong11 how do they call it a hayride then? Did it just breakdown and they didn't want to do a refund? I think it was a typo in the paper where mh first saw it. Of course I described it as a hayride to Cadence so she kept asking when there would be hay.

It's always a nice surprise to be further along, but I will tell you each of my pregnancies my MS has been worse. This one by far the worst. I attribute it to having to deal with another kid(s) while being exhausted and sick.

Morning!! I just got out of the shower and everyone is still sleeping?! I'm sitting in the dark with my feet up, enjoying the quiet for as long as it lasts.
My parents are coming over to visit today and Colin has a birthday party to go to at the Discovery museum during his usual naptime. I assume he'll sleep on the drive home and it'll have to be enough.
