My donkeys need names. The white one is a girl, brown one is a boy. The moms' names are Willow & Mocha. I told J he could name the boy, but he's very persuadable. The white one is so sweet and friendly, and gorgeous so I feel like she needs a special name. She's likely going to be a micro, smaller than a regular mini donkey. She's tiny. The boy is only 2mo old so no real personality yet, other than adorable baby. What would you name these donkeys?   |

I love old people names on animals, so keep that in mind. I know it's not everyone's style.
Horace and Wilma are my suggestions.

For the white one: Bianca, Pearl, Opal, Guinevere (means fair one), Genevieve means White wave, Laksha (white rose in hindi), Nuala (white-haired in gaelic), Rowena (white haired one), Vanna (for Vanna White),
Edgar or Oscar for the boy.

My cats were Walter and Patrice. I also like people names on pets.
Also, she is BEAUTIFUL! When I was pregnant with H, A's cousin's kid thought he/she should be named Shimmer Starlight.
She'd be like a my little pony donkey!

I love Bianca for the white one!
For human names I also like Mallory and Lou.
I also like non-human names like Diamond and Marshmallow for the girl, Shadow or Ash for the boy.

I have no new suggestions, but I love Pearl. It's actually on our baby name list haha.

I like literary names for animals. Maybe even thematic, like I might name them all Shakespeare names or all jane Austin characters. Bingly for a boy donkey would be pretty awesome  |

I campaigned hard for Walter yesterday and J was not having it. "How about Pokesie, does that sound like a good name?" Not really, kid......not really. So we're still working on that I loove Louie as a boy name but it happens to be my best friend's bf's name and I think he's going to be around forever so I don't want to offend him by naming my donkey after him, hahaha!!! |
