Good morning!
Today we go pick up DD and she meets her brother. So excited! I'm ready for our family of four to be together (even if I have no idea how I'm going to make this work, haha).
In other news, DS pooped four times while I was pumping and MH is not pleased. XD I obviously couldn't stop pumping to help. Poor guy. But hey, I'm the one on baby duty for the foreseeable future, sooo...

I managed to fall asleep sitting up with lights on while nursing ds2 for about an hour. He was supported by the boppy too but I was so sore and uncomfortable when I woke up. I just need to get a stretch of sleep longer than 35 minutes when I'm not holding a baby lol.

Nice and crisp here this morning! Not too sure what's on the agenda today. I should really go look for boots for the kids. And maybe new toques. We have a meeting at daycare tonight so they make supper, which means no dishes for me!

I'm still here guys, I promise lol. So we are still in hospital. E is a week old today, and we are (I say we, when it's all down to E) working on keeping her levels balanced. She keeps shooting up the chart each time her lights are taken away. I keep having very stern talks, whether she's listening or not is a different question lol. I think she's just being a little drama queen, as she's perfectly fine (70-90mls every 2-3 hours) and lovely colour poops lol. Waiting for another set of test results now to see if we can turn off the lights and start the process again of seeing if she can chill out and maintain her levels herself! FX for baby E Baby pic -

I put the twins in matching sleepers just to mess with DH today. They look so very different (to me at least), so I get a kick out of his confusion.

My biggest fear re: having 2 of the same sex was that I would confuse them. DH had it down earlier than I did, but now I'm feeling more confident- even their cries sound different. Phew!

Woke up to some nice white cold fluff on the ground. It's too early. Just way too early.

I just need to get a stretch of sleep longer than 35 minutes when I'm not holding a baby lol. This is why I didn’t fight cosleeping with DS2 & DS3. I just couldn’t and being in a flat and safe bed with sleep was far more comfortable and safe for everyone. We will watch the don’t sleep with your baby video the hospital insists we watch and then do it anyway. We don’t drink or smoke and blankets will be gone and pillows are minimal. I cannot function on little to no sleep. (This is not a judgement response, I’m hoping it doesn’t come across as such. If it does, I’m sorry.)

While waiting for the ob this morning because she was somehow already behind and I was only the second appointment, I was playing with the wheel that calculates your due date. Except they don't call it due date they call it expected date of confinement lol.
And apparently i have a yeast infection. I've asked two previous DR's (both male) about the discharge and discomfort and they brushed it off as normal pregnancy stuff. Since she did the gbs swab today she took one look and told me i have one. Now I wonder if I've essentially had it this whole pregnancy, I'm a little peeved with the male ob's right now.

It is 45* this morning with a high of 60*. I never washed my maternity sweaters that are in a tote somewhere, so it looks like I will be layering in odds and ends that I find in my closet to stay warm for my appt today. I’m excited to check in on this little one and relieve some anxiety, since at this point with my other 3, I was having weekly BPPs.

clucky I totally understand why cosleeping works lol. DH isn't on board and I usually cannot sleep well if ds1 at least is hanging out in our bed. Last night was the worst night we've had with sleep so I'm hoping it's growth spurt related ... DS2 is 13 days and according to Kelly mom, there's a growth spurt around the corner.

Happy Friday Eve ladies!!! I’m awake... I slept last night, so that was good. I think I got 4 solid hours in and honestly at this point, I’m calling that a win. It’s supposed to be cooler here today, in the high 70’s. DD2’s plysate with her besties was cancelled, 1 twin started with a fever last night and my other friend is a realtor and has to go show a house. I have an OB appointment at 1 and I may go visit my mom and my brother afterward. I don’t have a good relationship with my mother, I think she’s an awful person... but I’m afraid if I don’t go over there, she’ll show up here... that would be much worse.

I’m sorry...I’ve had so many this pregnancy. 30+ years of owning and operating a vagina, never had a yeast infection. I’ve had at least 3 since May. Upside is at this late stage they should just give you Diflucan. At least my doc did.

I had two pretty strong contractions last night, but they were hours apart. Between that and the reflux I didn’t get much sleep.

Slept pretty good till about 1:30. Then DD woke up with a fever. Got some medicine in her and she took about an hour to fall asleep. Then she slept till 6:30 and came into our bed where she went back to sleep till 7:30.
Quiet morning here today. I have a massage at 12:30. Looking forward to that.

Good morning! I slept horribly last night. Maybe a total of 3 hours. So tired. I pee every hour now instead of every 2hrs. It's a bit ridiculous beefinch what a little sweetheart! I hope you guys can go home soon. How is your ds doing? Has he come to visit more? paperbagliz and bethers I would be scared I wouldn't be able to tell them apart if I had twins lol

XP from my other bmb
I had the most trouble finding something to wear today. It's 50 degrees out which I very much appreciate. However, I have no fall/winter maternity clothes because south GA. I luckily found a pair of leggings that I accidentally bought in a size up last year and I'm short so a long sleeve shirt worked to go over those. My boots aren't zipped all the way. Basically I look HOT guys. So glad I only have one more week of work to try and look presentable. Then the young lady where Tucker goes to doggy daycare said I looked so cute. Bless her! I'm rambley this morning, sorry about it.

quinn, DS doesn't care I don't think, he's liking his mini holiday with Nanny and Grandad. They come up every 2/3 days, it's just hard because DS is allowed on our ward anytime since he's our son, but my mum has to only come on visiting times. But H comes up here in the morning and goes 6pm ish, that's way to long for a 2 year old. I know he won't remember me being away so it's fine, I just can't wait to be at home with my babies. DS gave DD kisses the other day, it was very sweet (until he got jealous that Daddy was holding the baby)

I’m excited to check in on this little one and relieve some anxiety, since at this point with my other 3, I was having weekly BPPs. I was so much bigger last pregnancy apparently so all of my Fall maternity clothes are super stretched out and don't fit right this time around. For the sake of embarrassing myself...by 34w with DS1 I had gained 60 lbs, this time around I have only gained about 22 at almost 37 weeks. I look like a homeless person on these cooler days because I am wearing a mish mash of maternity and non-maternity clothes layered together. Whatever. Can't be bothered to care. beefinch, I hope E gets her numbers together today so you can go home! Sorry it has been such a process. I have my first BPP at the MFM clinic today. I am looking forward to checking in on this boy and see how he has grown in the last 2 weeks. I woke up feeling HUGE this morning so I feel like he has to be bigger. I know my OB never thought I would get this far so I am going to press him on scheduling my induction when I have my appointment on Monday, just in case. I really think I might make it to that 39 week mark and I would like an end date. There is the chance I wouldn't be able to see him for my 38 week appointment and I really want to schedule the induction at an appointment with him.
