I am new to using a planner this year. In the past I have kept a notebook with all things Christmas in it. I have been waffling between using my bullet journal for Christmas planning or my stand by of a separate notebook. I can see the pros and cons of both. so I am reaching out to see what you ladies do.

I plan everything in one planner. Multiple planners for me means things get lost, forgotten or missed entirely. I use a ring-bound planner (combination of Franklin Planner & Day-Timer products) and just add blank note pages for in a separate tabbed section for holiday planning. I love the ease of adding more pages/sections to my ring-bound planner and it means that nothing is lost and everything is altogether in one place.

Last year I included it in my bullet journal. This year I have a separate TN with two Christmas planning inserts from the 1407 planners.

I have a small notebook that slides inside my other planner that has all the Christmas stuff, card lists, decorating lists, the food/cookies/baking we like to make, shopping lists etc. I store it on theside of one of my Christmas boxes, right where I can grab it in about oct/nov before I actually get out all the Christmas decorations.

I have a binder for Christmas. Lined paper with dividing tabs that have pockets. The first section is gifts. I have a page for DD and H. I write down ideas, or what I bought along with the price. After it's wrapped, I highlight it. Other pages are per family.
Another section is for entertaining...meal plan for dinner, grocery list, etc
Another section is to do lists...mail cards, make gingerbread house, etc.
I also have a section for my cleaning. I do my "spring cleaning" in late fall so I keep my cleaning list in there so I can cross things off.

I’m currently using a moleskine just to jot down ideas but this way could be so helpful for me. Especially since we do homemade gifts for Christmas too so I can keep a running list of supplies needed.

kbw I do the same since I make the invites, favors and some kind of little ornament. I have used it for years. In the pockets I also keep lists from previous years, coupons for when we go out, etc.
