muscari I would definitely look to find someone to talk to about how you're feeling. You know you best...but I feel like if you're feeling like this isn't just a bit of passing stress brought on by a particularly hard day or something like that, it's best to reach out to someone. No need to suffer alone! Being a mama is really hard!! I'm always here if you need a chat, too 😘

Hi!!
1. DS is 6.5 wks.
2. He's got crazy good neck strength. We also started getting smiles, but those are mostly reserved for the ceiling fan.
3. We're working on napping in places besides on me. He'll sleep in a wrap, but even that isn't always convenient.
4. I've been doing ok. Still on leave for another month, then I'll be FT again. I'm really dreading going back.
5. Nothing now!
6. Here's one from his newborn shoot and one from this week.
POOF
7. He's going to be a tiger, per family tradition. His sister will be R2D2, so we're clearly not theming.

Thanks for the tag @starzia! Hi ladies!! 1. How old is your LO? 10.5 weeks 2. What milestone have you hit recently? What new skills are they working on? She is really animated and found her voice so that’s adorable. She is also moving her arms and kicking her legs and looks like a little puppet lol. 3. What new challenges are you working on currently? Trying or at least I keep saying I’m going to try the crib at least for naps. Also it seems to be a tiny bit better with the cluster feeding all night but it would be nice if she could chill with MH then and have some downtime in the evenings. 4. How are things going for you? Are you back at work? Staying at home? I’m ok, I have some unrelated health stuff going on which sucks but I’m dealing with it. I’m back to work mid-December, so much DNW. 5. Do you have any other questions for the group? Start a thread! 6. And feel free to share pictures! ETA: 7. Are you and the baby dressing up for Halloween? What will you be? I’m not, She is going to wear a pumpkin onesie outfit and DD1 wants to be Cinderella I’m the worst with pics this time around, just realized I have nothing recent ☹️

Can I play here?! I come from A17 1. How old is your LO? 12 weeks yesterday 2. What milestone have you hit recently? What new skills are they working on? -he is smiling, grabbing, cooing and now has great he contact. We are working on tummy time, he has good head control, but he hates being on his belly. 3. What new challenges are you working on currently? My biggest challenge is still trying to figure out how to juggle 3 year old and a 3 month old, my toddler has been trying my patience. 4. How are things going for you? Are you back at work? Staying at home? Things are good. I had severe pre e at 5 weeks, so I'm just trying to get off these BP meds! I am aSAHM since after my first, although I do miss work from time to time! 5. Do you have any other questions for the group? Start a thread! 6. And feel free to share pictures! ETA: 7. Are you and the baby dressing up for Halloween? What will you be? Yes a Skeleton outfit. I bought a costume, but it was way to big. I'll wear something Halloween, but no costume!

1. How old is your LO? 8 months on Nov. 6th 2. What milestone have you hit recently? What new skills are they working on? Z is really wanting to crawl. She gets up rocks, inch worms, but she's just not there yet. 3. What new challenges are you working on currently? Not many. Z has been a pretty easy going baby ever since she turned about 5 months. 4. How are things going for you? Are you back at work? Staying at home? I stay home. It's rough some days, my 3 year old doesn't nap and he's constantly bouncing off the walls. DH is in his senior year of college and working full time so we have some long days. 5. Do you have any other questions for the group? Start a thread! 6. Are you and the baby dressing up? I am not. Halloween is not my thing. But DS wanted to be Spider Man. I'll probably just use the pikachu hat for DD.

Oh, hi! I don't see tags so... yeah
Anyway, 1) 6 months and a 2.5 year old
2) he's finally gotten a hang of this rolling thing. Last night was the first in a while he hasn't asked us to rescue him from his belly. The horror of unwanted belly sleeping!
3. Food. He's not too keen on regular food and would rather we give him purees for life, apparently
4. I've been back at work for a little over 3 months now. I'm hitting a "why I am I working??!" phase, but the same thing happened when DS1 was this age.
5. I'm good for now. This kid's completely different than DS1 though!
6. DS1 is a minion, DS2 is a giraffe

1. How old is your LO? 3.5 months 2. What milestone have you hit recently? What new skills are they working on? She has rolled and is big on holding things and has passed them from hand to hand 3. What new challenges are you working on currently? She is growing and just eating so much. Basically feeding her allll the time. 4. How are things going for you? Are you back at work? Staying at home? I am on Mat leave until July. It will be so weird to go back. We go to a lot of play dates and I am trying to build a local “Mom tribe” if you will 5. Do you have any other questions for the group? Start a thread 6. And feel free to share pictures! ETA: 7. Are you and the baby dressing up for Halloween? What will you be? Baby and my big are dressing up. She is a unicorn and he is a big blue thing

Oh gosh, how did I never notice this board?? Thanks for the tag @icedtea! Hi to my May 17 moms! I got lazy on the other site and lurk here much more often. 1. How old is your LO? 5 months as of the 20th! And he's huge, over 18lbs at his 4 month appointment. 2. What milestone have you hit recently? What new skills are they working on? He's doing really well with independent sitting and rolling over both ways. 3. What new challenges are you working on currently? Things actually feel like smooth sailing.... *knocks on wood* 4. How are things going for you? Are you back at work? Staying at home? I work super PT from home so that keeps me busy in the evenings and my two year old is in full force 😳 5. Do you have any other questions for the group? Start a thread! 6. And feel free to share pictures! I'll come back to this later!! ETA: 7. Are you and the baby dressing up for Halloween? What will you be? DS1 is going to be Alan Grant from Jurassic Park (his favorite) and DS2 is going to be a dinosaur. I'll be a cat like always.

grumpycat! Congrats! Welcome to the 2 boys club from Jan'15 piratecat re: TFAS- if you have any desire at all to attempt a VBAC, the current rule is there needs to be 18 months between the end of the first pregnancy and the start of the next. Food for thought... and I'll continue. That said, my kids are 27 months apart- we conceived at the 18m mark. I wouldn't change a thing, but it's very rough some days. I don't think there's really a "sweet spot" though. I have a few friends who waited until their first were 2 and are now having to deal with the transition on their toddler

1. How old is your LO? X is 5 years old and L and C are 6 months old 2. What milestone have you hit recently? What new skills are they working on? Both are starting to sit on their own. C really wants to crawl but can't get himself coordinated enough to do it. We started solids a couple weeks ago. C acts like I'm trying to poison him when we try anything despite grabbing for our food. L is really interested in everything 3. What new challenges are you working on currently? C has a milk protein and soy allergy. We're trying to get him on formula so I can stop pumping and eat dairy again. He seems to be doing ok on Alimentum after he reacted last month when we tried. Our pedi also put him on zantac on Fri to see if that helps with the reflux and very frequent watery poops 4. How are things going for you? Are you back at work? Staying at home? I went back to work on Oct 2. It's been good for my mental health. We have a nanny who is working out well. 5. Do you have any other questions for the group? 6. And feel free to share pictures! ETA: 7. Are you and the baby dressing up for Halloween? What will you be? L is a panda, X is a wolf, C a leopard. DH will be a monkey and I'm supposed be a zookeeper if I can find a vest tomorrow

Oh we have. The simethicone helps overnight (he gets them after each night feeding) but...not 100%. I know dairy has some part now because I had cut a lot out for a few days and we had some good nights. Yesterday I had a bunch of pizza and last night was....not great.

Hi everyone! 1. How old is your LO? 5 months and DS is 2.75 years old 2. What milestone have you hit recently? What new skills are they working on? Sitting for longer stretches 3. What new challenges are you working on currently? Teething 4. How are things going for you? Are you back at work? Staying at home? Pretty good. Got a pretty good rhythm now with juggling two kids. 5. Do you have any other questions for the group? Start a thread! 6. And feel free to share pictures! Let’s see if I remember how to do this ETA: 7. Are you and the baby dressing up for Halloween? What will you be? She’s Lieutenant Dan and DS is Forest Gump. I’m not dressing up because I’m lame.

I’ll come back and read everyone’s posts tomorrow, but here’s my contribution in the meantime. 1. How old is your LO?3 1/2 months 2. What milestone have you hit recently? What new skills are they working on? He consistently rolls from belly to back and has rolled from back to belly once! Grasping toys, puts everything in his mouth. 3. What new challenges are you working on currently? He is no longer STTN, but I can’t complain too much because he only wakes up once to eat. 4. How are things going for you? Are you back at work? Staying at home?Dealing with some personal things right now, but other than that, really well. I went back to work at 5 1/2 weeks PP, which was the right choice for us. We had to switch daycare but now we love our new place!! 5. Do you have any other questions for the group? Start a thread!
6. And feel free to share pictures! ETA: 7. Are you and the baby dressing up for Halloween? What will you be?He’s going to be a bat and I will be a witch!

Now that I have time to kill at work I guess I'll come back and hang here. 1. How old is your LO? 4 months 2. What milestone have you hit recently? What new skills are they working on? Does sleep regression count? Haha! Working on rolling back to front. So close! 3. What new challenges are you working on currently? Sleeeeeeeep. We're planning to start sleep training next week. Trying to decide what method(s) we want to use. 4. How are things going for you? Are you back at work? Staying at home? Back at work and at a client site as of this week. Thankfully it's a slow ramp-up so easing back in. Plus they're a huge company and have multiple lactation rooms and HR is scheduling me into them until I get system access. Struggling with potential thrush (nips are a big ouch). Pumping is going decently, I just have to pump once every night before bed and twice over the weekend plus 3x at work to make up what she eats at daycare. 5. Do you have any other questions for the group? Start a thread! 6. And feel free to share pictures! ETA: 7. Are you and the baby dressing up for Halloween? What will you be? We were Mario, Luigi, and J was a Power-Up mushroom in the LilleBaby.

marshian, I also have to pump extra at home to keep up with the amount he takes at daycare. Bah. I just can't get myself to pump even more than I already do to build up a stash to send to daycare to have extra on hand so some days when he has an extra big appetite they supplement with formula. (atrb_partsz) Good luck being back at work and I'm glad that you are able to ease in a bit!

piratecat - Yeah, it's not my preferred situation (would much have rather been able to just pump at work), but after consulting with breastfeeding groups and LCs it seems my breast capacity is on the low side and I'm just doomed to pump max 2oz out of each boob at one time. I've been getting 3oz each session for a long time now. J is still eating every 2 hours (because she only gets 3oz, so go figure) and I can't pump that often at work. Thankfully my bedtime pump is a good one. But last week I was panicking and starting to think through supplementing with formula. We can get to 6 months EBF with my freezer stash if I can't keep up and then we'll re-evaluate if needed. It's my favorite complaint right now. I have huge boobs but they're all tissue and small ducts. Why couldn't they hold more milk?!
