Weeks pregnant: 19!
Baby is the size of a: hedgehog
FTM/STM/TTM: stm
Team: green- though everyone seems to think it's a boy
Appointments: we saw the midwife yesterday and everything's fine and dandy.
Symptoms: so emotional. But other than that I feel great.
Milestones:
Rants/raves/vents: I think we have a boy name? I'm shocked since it took forever for us to name B.
GTKY: Our playgroup Halloween party is tomorrow morning. So, true to my nature, I'll be throwing his costume together tonight.
We may or may not take him trick or treating the actually day of.

Weeks pregnant: almost 13.
Baby is the size of a: somewhere between a chicken nugget & a scoop of ice cream.
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: third.
Team: green.
Appointments: next Wednesday with the MFM and the following Wednesday with my regular OB.
Symptoms: nausea, heartburn, indigestion, sour stomach, pregnancy brain, food aversions but also starving, RLP.
Milestones: I *think* I felt flutters the other day, Friday or Saturday, in the bath. I haven't felt them since. But, I'm also days from second tri, so I guess that counts, too.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I went to the ER last night for fluids. The NP that was assigned to me (since I know I'm pregnant, and also diagnosed with HG as well, I didn't need a full on doctor) decided to do an ultrasound to check the babe, except it took her about 3 minutes to FIND the baby and then she commented that the baby seemed kind of large for only 12/13 weeks, though she did later admit that she isn't that great at reading ultrasounds & guessing ages. I see the MFM on Wednesday, so I'm not even remotely worried, but also annoyed. I already didn't feel good, but way to stress me out because A) you couldn't find it & then B) that it's big.
GTKY: What are your plans for Halloween? I think we may go to BIL's MIL's with him & his family to ToT. We live in the country and only have two neighbors, so our area is kind of lame. Then, we'll bring home a pizza or something.

tinyjoys , Sorry you are still so sick. How big? Mine was measuring a week over at my 10.5w u/s and I charted so I am 100% on conception day w/in 48 hours. ETA: Is it pizza hut pizza?

I have no idea how "big" she thought it looked. My OB said two weeks ago everything looked absolutely perfect, right on track for dates. She took forever to find my uterus to begin with, so I don't think she really knew what she was doing. I see the MFM next week, though, so I'm not worried. I'm annoyed more than anything. And nope. A little mom & pop place around the corner from where we'll be.

Weeks pregnant: 22 weeks 2 days!
Baby is the size of a: corn on the cob!!
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: First take home baby
Team: Pink!
Appointments: I have a regular check up on Monday with another one of the OBs in the office. Trying to meet them all, lol. Meeting the male OB before any invasive checks, haha.
Symptoms: Heartburn, insomnia. Both mild right now. I am feeling pretty good
Milestones: So much more movement!! It's exciting.
Rants/Raves/Vents: Crazy people being crazy over showers. Why do they want to dictate what size clothes people buy, or are encouraging me to make different registries and only tell certain people certain things. Like why can't we just let people do what they are going to do? And I don't want to cater registries to your weird concerns. My amazon registry has the majority of my things on it right now. I want to make sure everyone sees it because we want to cloth diaper and I want as many chances for all that stuff to be purchased as I can get. Why would I only give someone one registry? I can return stuff if need be. ALSO, I am not throwing the shower! Stop asking me what I want, you do what you want to do!
GTKY: What are your plans for Halloween? I do not have any plans at the moment. I am probably working. Plus we don't live somewhere where we will get any trick or treaters. Which is sad, as much as I love living in the country.

GDI nuggetrn HIH just ate my post but basically, people will inevitably gift you the craziest stuff and ignore your registry. I’m super appreciative and thankful for the generous gifts we received but a few came with some judgement on our choices: a baby bullet so we could “make safe, organic food” (we wanted to do BLW/extended BFing) and glass bottles “to avoid carcinogens in plastic ones” (again, extended BF and only used the plastic medela ones so I could pump right into them.) It’ll be fine! I do think that I hit the max on returning things to Target without a receipt that year though 😂
