What's the one band you'd do anything to see live?

Paul McCartney.
He was actually in our area not terribly long ago, and we just couldn't make attending work. I was so bummed.

I would love to see Aerosmith. We saw Aerosmith twice. Once in a traditional arena concert and once in a natural amphitheater. The arena concert kind of sucked because of shitty acoustics and Steven Tyler appeared drunk (this was more than ten years ago), but the amphitheater concert was awesome.

Billy Joel. Grew up on him. Came **this close*** last summer when he performed in Wrigleyville, Chicago steps from my sister's apartment and we could overhear it all! Still kicking myself for not springing for tickets, but the divorce lawyer was impoverishing me at the time. Sigh. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

((( You should be jealous )))

I'd love to see Elton John. A friend of mine saw him at Madison Square Garden in 2005(?) and said it was life-changing. I believe her.

I have been to six parades since saying that. SIX. The universe hates me. I did get to go to the Cavern Club once. I'm contenting myself with that for now. If he tours the States again I told H I will pay basically anything and travel anywhere.

U2. They played the stadium where I worked several years ago, so I got to sort of see them but I was working the whole time so not the same.
