klong11,is C still in a crib?! I'm jealous and astounded! Ds still is in a crib and a wearable blanket, he does not like pyjamas 🙄. He gets a new bed once we move back to our own house. Aaaaand now I’ve found a new reason to cry, my baby no longer in a crib. I'm pretty impressed he's still in a crib! C was climbing out of it long long ago.

Oh I didn't even think about the crib. I'm going to have to get LO a bed since I was going to use his convertible for baby 2.0 I have a bed ready to go for L, but I'm fully prepared to buy a new crib or use the pack n play for the baby because the thought of L not in the crib isn't a happy thought.

Think I'm going to have to move X out of the crib sooner than I would like so the baby can have it.
I'll probably get bunk beds for Dude and X in hopes that Atticus will get excited about it and not be so resentful of the baby.

Good idea with the bunk beds cagoldi! B has instructed us that when J is out of the crib they will have bunk beds so he can help her and be near her ‘at all time’. That boy lives for his sister.

Did you say he'll react better if it's a girl or did I make that up?

Ummmmm, adorable. Sweet B! C would probably want to be near L so he can steal her blankets or anything else she has and maybe give her a good kick or something for good measure.

My in laws bought bunk beds and they have them in a little room off their bedroom. There's a trundle bed underneath so all 3 grandkids can sleep in their room. Well my two nieces are too scared to sleep in a different room than their parents and C tries to jump from the top bunk regularly. My in laws clearly had this cute little vision in their head of grandkid sleepovers that is likely years from happening.

I'm getting the boys 2 twins that stack into bunk beds. I think every kid goes through that phase where they want bunk beds so this way I won't have to say no or buy new furniture when we get there.

So I hope they are a lot older before they ask.

I'm already selling the bunk bed thing to T for him and the new kid. His cousins have bunk beds so that's my selling point.

Oh and we will put the crib in our room for a while. DH didn't understand why under his 55in mounted tv was not a good place for a crib. Yes, the tv is way too big for our bedroom.

Poor H sent me his trip itinerary. He's staying at a beachfront resort. Why don't math teachers need to be sent to beach front resorts?

Atticus still mostly vacillates from being indifferent or positively miserable about having a brother and it's ruining my life.

I'm just clinging to hope that he won't associate a little sister with all the things he hates now. I'm waiting until we know the sex. Should find out by next week.

Went to the ENT. Both ears are still infected. He said usually the drops for 3 days clears it up, but obviously not in H’s case. He suctioned out both ears, which was disgusting, by the way. He even clogged the machine up because the fluid was so thick. He took an ear culture and will send it off to get tested.
For now, I’m supposed to do the drops twice a day until I hear from him. If it’s some kind of super bug, he’ll prescribe stronger drops. He wants him to stay home the next couple of days so he doesn’t pick up a new virus at school.
He wants us to come back next week to follow up because Hayden was annoying him. Ha ha ha!

Poor H, tgrimes . We had to do the drops for 7 or 10 days after Chase's tubes, I can't remember but it was a long time. The ENT had told us pre-op that it would be 3-4 days but afterwards changed his mind and said they were some of the worst ears he'd seen. These poor babies.

tgrimes poor guy/ 🙁 peachsmama that’s what we did (re:beds) we have two twins we can stack into bunks. It’s worked perfectly. Well, I spent most of the day laying on the couch and eating my feelings. I need to snap out of it and go get Landon from school and do a target run for Lucas’s bday tomorrow. Thankfully dh should be home at a reasonable time today. So, I’m starting to think about if I want to do maternity Pics. I’ve done them with all the other babies, but we had a good friend who “dabbled” in photography so she did them for way cheap for us. She no longer does them and I don’t know if I want to spend $$$ on them. Dh has a nice camera so I’m thinking we may take a tripod and the kids and just try to get some pregnant photos that we can also use for Christmas cards. Cher where did you get the long pink dress you wore in your mat pics??

Guess I'm on a real grape tomato kick because they're in 3 of the meals I planned for dinner and I've been snacking on them.
I realized we bought 7 pounds this weekend.

Say what now wedding, your nieces wont sleep away from their parents? Please tell me I’m reading that wrong. For the past two years my SIL and BIL have lived with her parents and every night would all end up in one bed. When they would stay at my in laws they would share a room. SIL says the girls stay in their room now in their new home but I don't believe her. The oldest is 7 and her youngest is 6 mos younger than our N13s. ETA: I don't believe her because they have never once successfully put even the oldest to bed without one of them going to sleep with her.

I got C a cinnamon twist thing from the bakery and surprised him when I picked him up. He took one bite and threw it on the floor and yelled for another treat. The rest of the night has been similar bratty behavior. I'm on the verge of screaming out of frustration and crying because I feel like I've caused him to be this spoiled brat by giving him all the things. Can it be bedtime yet?

C has done that before or will just start tantruming demanding "a surprise". I hope tomorrow is better!
