I'm a half full person, but the only reason I knew was by being around H who is definitely a half empty.
Interestingly enough, almost all of the dreams I remember are negative, though not nightmarish, and most of his are positive.

I am an eternal optimist. MH is a pessimist if I ever saw one. We balance each other out nicely though =)

Same as you sammichcat. I'm half full and H is definitely half empty. He actually admitted that when we first started dating he thought I was annoyingly happy. I rubbed off on him, and he's definitely more optimistic now. |

I rubbed off on him, and he's definitely more optimistic now. Bahaha, I think H once told me something along the same lines XD Omg, it was so hilarious. I started seeing a therapist for some anxiety issues. He had asked me to list off what I liked about myself and I was having trouble. He asked me what MH liked about me and I was like "ummm, that I'm funny I guess?" So later on I asked him, and he was being all coy about it. Was bugging him about it while he was driving me to work, and when we got there, I asked him one last time, and he stares straight ahead and goes "Fine! I like your bubbly personality, okay!? Now get out of the car" |

I am most certainly a hopeless optimist. While I’ve grown more cynical as I get older, I still give people and situations the benefit of the doubt almost every time. I’m also a really strong problem solver, so I’m not sure if the two are related.
H is definitely glass half empty. Though I have found in those rare times when I am pessimistic and lose my shit, he also switches roles. It’s a good balance between the two of us

I tend to be a prepare for the worst type and DH has endless optimism. We compliment each other well.

Half full. DH is more half empty, unless it comes to entrepreneurial ideas. He’d love to come up with some gadget or business concept and make a million dollars.

H & I are both fairly optimistic in life. As we've gotten older we've started to be more realist about things though.
