H and I are at a con and we've got an incompetent GM. So frustrating. I've got great roleplaying character and he's not allowing me to do my stuff. That sounds terrible, hopefully hell get his shit together. Are you having fun otherwise though? Yeah, previous sessions were great. But this is the second crappy DM I've had playing this character for our sessions and she never gets to reach her full potential.

mischief was that an intentional weight loss? If so, nice work! If not, everything ok? Yes totally intentional. I had another blood clot in my lungs and then the doctor also found that I dont properly absorb nutrients so Im going on Isagenix to hopefully train my body to absorb that shit better. So we have been doing a 1200 calorie diet while I waited for all my stuff to get here. So its pretty good because I dont think Ive actually lost any weight in years. Whoa that sounds really serious. Your dr sounds proactive so I'm glad there's something you can do about it. I did isagenix about 7 years ago, it's pretty easy to follow and a fairly forgiving system. Do you have to take that isotonic "cleanse" stuff?

We were at a Star Wars theme wedding tonight, it was cute! The bridal party entered the reception to the cantina song and there was a dude controlling a r2d2 around the room and it beeped and stuff. All the decorations were SW and they even had the movies playing on silent

It doesnt seem like its going to be too bad but Im trying to remain unbiased so I havent read any reviews or anything. Just watched a few of the videos my coach emailed me. I am all about the very little to no loose skin. Thats always been my biggest worry if I was to lose the weight. But those before and after pictures look legit. Its funny actually because my dad is rebuilding my Doctors guest house so they talk about me and my dad said she is super invested in helping me. Like as an actual person even not just a patient. She even set me up with one of the executives to be my coach for it because they are friends. And I guess we are doing something different than what everyone else is doing, I feel like I somehow managed to get a seat at the cool kids table lol.

mischief I am gonna write a tell all about isagenix 😂Idk if I'm the person you want to ask about it haha. imma do you a solid and give you a heads up, the isotonic I had tasted like shiiiiiiiit but I'm sure they have changed the recipe since then haha. Whenever I had vanilla I liked to put cinnamon and nutmeg and apple/pumpkin pie spice in it to change it up every now and then.

But now Im dying to know pianolove! Give me all the tea. Im doing mostly for all the vitamins, my doctor said it should help kick start my body into properly absorbing nutrients again because right now all I get out of food is the fat I guess. My vitamins levels are basically non existant. Apparently my organs arent doing so hot because of that so she wants me to try this. I have to take a bunch of multi vitamins and folic acid as well. If I lose weight its just an added bonus. I do know it felt like damn highway robbery lol. Thanks for the cinnamon tip I never would have thought of that.

mischief lol you got it dude. I think the way you're using it is fine, truly. It's sorta like nutrient therapy if I'm not mistaken. I'm only speaking to my personal experiences with the company itself. They're an mlm, and instead of using guilt-trip based parties or "support my #bossbabe business!", they use fear mongery misinformation about toxins and food group demonization, particularly carbs and sugars, to drive their sales*. That bullshit sent me on a disordered eating spiral that I finally broke recently. I don't remember all the ins and outs of their shaky science but I do remember getting their emails about how horrible sugar is and carbs are evil, etc, which isn't true. And the consultants were super sneaky, like they targeted a lot of personal trainers and chiropractors who could then use their power influence with their clients to sell more isagenix. So my trainer got me started, and then I had a friend who also wanted to try it so I put them on my tree. My friend bought their 30 day thing, I got $50, and then my trainer made money on my $50 as well as my own purchases, all the while believing their harmful nutrition propaganda and thinking we were saving them from evil toxins or sumshit. It's very clever, truly, convincing us that we were "sick" and their product would "cleanse" us, and then we "may experience side effects such as weight loss." I'm not saying that their products aren't chock full of vitamins and nutrients because 1 look at their labels says they are, im speaking to the company's overarching theme of "detoxify your body!!11!1" as if your liver and kidneys aren't already doing that, you know? *i have not been involved with the company since 2013, all this may have changed for all I know

pianolove, thats the same kind of feel I got from them. Thankfully, probably thanks to my favorite aunt who has tried every diet ever, I go in with a hefty dose of skepticism for anything that claims to be a miracle. But I can totally see how they suck people in like that, they spin a good spiel whenever I get on the phone with them, I spend a lot of time exchanging looks that belong on The Office with my H. And our hefty doses of MLM hate here on the board only add fuel to that flame lol. I told H Im down to try it but I refuse to become a pusher or turn into one of those people. But thank you for the heads up. Im sorry you had that experience and Im glad you were able to break the cycle. I may need you guys to bitch slap me to reality if I get in too deep.

I'm dead at picturing you giving your H the Jim halpert looks Yeah the company itself totally sucks but honestly if it can get your body to do what it needs to do for you to be healthy and nutrient-absorbing, then it's worth it. I think you'll be okay, you know what you're doing and are confident and assertive and don't take no shit 😉
