I made a thread because MH came across the Buffy season 8 comics at the flea market and bought them for me! I was so surprised that he remembered.

There is nothing more soothing to me than cuddling up to my husband while he's playing a game. Often, I fall asleep. It's just so comforting and nice.

MH got the old school HP and the Chamber of Secrets PC game to work! I'm not a gamer and suck at gameplay but I am a freaking boss at that game. It brings back so many good memories!
I've also been in a deep rabbit hole about the British Royals lately. I'm watching like 3 documentaries and The Crown after the kiddos go to sleep.

MH got the old school HP and the Chamber of Secrets PC game to work! I'm not a gamer and suck at gameplay but I am a freaking boss at that game. It brings back so many good memories! My brother and I got the lego Harry Potter games for xbox, we used to stay up sooooo late playing those. Good times lol Is yours the actual game or is it the lego version? |

Good goddamn guys, writing is hard, I partially wish I hadnt posted my fic before I had more of a handle on it. I basically am going a chapter at a time with only a brief tiny idea of what I want to actually fucking write.

(I'm on chapter 4) I can definitely see Katniss heading the way of Haymitch in your AU, I think it's realistic given they always had that push and pull relationship in the books like she could so easily become him. Do you have an outline written out or an endgame? I sometimes find that it helps to have it all laid out in front of me, even if I'm just after a happy ending. Does music help you think?

Im stuck in transitional chapter hell at the moment. Ive got about 1/3 of chapter 8 done. I am trying to balance Finnick helping Katniss heal while also maintaining the fact that she is a strong woman who doesnt just need a man to fix her. Im trying to avoid that cliche like the plague lol.

I hate falling into cliche traps too. I think that's the thing I struggle the most with, I've read soooo much fanfic over the years and my very early stories were just full of them.
AO3 stopped working last night while I was reading and I went straight to Twitter and found I was in good company 😂

Whenever H and I fight I find myself playing Mass Effect 3, if there is one thing that is my happy place it is this game. I can't even count how many times I have replayed, not just because of fight obvs, I just find such peace in that world and its nice to let my mind wander.
