I still haven't figured out what we're dressing up as but I do know we have friends coming over and we'll take DS trick-or-treating with their daughter before handing out loads of candy/treats. Our street gets BUSY.
So...tell me what you're doing/dressing up as!

Our neighborhood is slow, so we'll go to my SIL's neighborhood and trick or treat with them, our niece is 8. M doesn't like two of his costumes I got at a consignment sale (cookie monster and Yoda). He had a fire man's hat he likes to wear and his rain coat has a fire man insignia, so there we go. I'll have him in a skeleton shirt underneath so if he refuses the jacket he'll have something.
I'm going to be lame this year and just wear some Halloween leggings. I figure next year he'll hopefully be more excited about dressing up and I'll dress up then.

DD is going to be a strawberry. I have a watermelon print tunic I’m going to wear and DH has a banana costume. We’re visiting family so will TOT in my parent’s neighborhood, which is a good place for it. And 2 good friends who we consider to be DD’s aunts are coming too and one will be grapes, the other will be a pineapple.

I had a 1920s costume that I was supposed to wear for my 30th, but we ended up not having the party so I'll wear it for Halloween

DS is going as a dinosaur. I don’t expect the costume to last very long so he’ll have a Halloween shirt under it. I may pack his hard hat / orange safety vest as a backup, since that’s the dress up clothes he likes best.
DH’s uncle does a hay ride to TOT in their neighborhood, so we’ll do that with all the cousins, same as last year.

I made DS1 a triceratops costume and DS2 a t-rex costume.
Then DS1 announced today that he wants to be Moana. I pointed out that I had already made him a triceratops costume. So he said that he will be a Moana-Triceratops.
I thought that was hilarious so I ordered a cheap Moana costume off of Amazon.

My eldest can't decide what he wants to be. Today it was an alligator, yesterday it was a hockey player, and before that it was a ghost, I think. We'll be doing last minute preparations.

DS will be Catboy (from PJ Masks). I'll be sporting my Halloween leggings.

O is Mickey from the Roadster Racers. I have no clue if/how ToT will work since he's only 2 and not a fan of new situations but we'll try. I might wear my ghost leggings but it's usually rather brisk on Halloween. Neither of my schools are doing Halloween so I'm bummed because I have leggings and no real reason to wear them to work.

DD is going to be Skye (from Paw Patrol). She loves that dog.
Last year I dressed up as a crazy cat lady (bathrobe, slippers, and a stuffed cat tied to my hip). I'll probably just wear a Halloween shirt if I can find one.
We went ToT last year and she had a blast. She's been talking abut going again since like April!

kookie3631 I was a crazy cat lady at my cousin's party last year. It was a great costume except it was hella hot here.

We went to a trick or treat at the zoo today. She decided to be Doc Mcstuffins. We also have an Anna costume that I'm sure she'll wear soon, especially after meeting Anna and Elsa today.

We have Spiderman and Hulk costumes for V. There is an event at the mall next Saturday where he’ll wear one, and then he’ll wear the other for ToTing.

M decided to prove me wrong and asked to wear his Cookie Monster costume twice yesterday. So we're keeping the bag out to try and get him more comfortable with it. So now I have no idea which costume he'll wear ToTing 🤷

DS is going to be an octopus. We are probably going to my boss’s neighborhood because she has a lot of kids his age there.

Love all of these. So cute.
We don’t TOT here so no costumes sadly. Even if we did, I know DD would just insist on being Emma Wiggle anyway. Like she did for Book Week, and various social occasions. Not too keen on branching out yet. At least I’ve gotten my money’s worth out of it since the concert!

tincupchalice, That is amazing, I love it! I can't believe you made the dinosaur thing. Kids are so wonderful. I don't think my eldest has realized you can combine separate things, yet haha. Otherwise I might be having a ghost crocodile TOTer, which actually sounds pretty cool.

DD’s going to be an elephant. We ordered it from amazon and it hasn’t come yet so we haven’t tried it on her - who knows how long she’ll tolerate it. She’s too little to trick or treat so she’ll just wear it on the Saturday, we’re having a Halloween party.
