Age: 2y9m
Milestones: nothing new
Challenges: He's a whiny little punk this week.
Funny/cute stories: Every morning lately, he eats toast for breakfast. He very carefully bites it into the shape of the plane H works on and "zooms" it around for a bit before he finishes it.
How are you? Good. It's been a frustrating week but things are officially slowing down for a while so I'm looking forward to more downtime.
Anything else? Nope.
QOTW: What size clothes is your little one wearing? He still fits in 2t, but I'm slowly transitioning his wardrobe to 4t shirts and 3t pants.

Age: Will be 3 in less than 2 months!
Milestones: Nothing specific, he is telling stories and remembering more details to share.
Challenges: Nothing really. He's such an easy kid.
Funny/cute stories: My mom told him once that my brother is on an airplane and ever since, every plane he shouts,"Uncle Eddie! Uncle Eddie on plane!" The other day, we were on porch, plane flew by, he said the usual. Then like 10 minutes later, my sister who lives 12 hours away FaceTimed me and my brother was visiting her. Dylan said,"Hey! I thought you were on the plane!" So I told him he was and now is visiting Grace (cousin). He was happy with that.
How are you? Good, staying very busy.
Anything else? Missing my dog, feels like something is missing/forgotten all the time.
QOTW: What size clothes is your little one wearing? Well, 4T tops are baggy and long but 4T pants are too short! I have found some size 4 pants that fit but I am telling the Grandmas to get 5T...he is so tall!

This conversation between me and the 2 yo just happened (as a side note, I do curse, but rarely in front of the kids).
DS2: (steps on toy train track). Shoot! Fuck train tracks!
Me: DS2, don't say that! That's a bad word.
DS2: Shoot not a bad word?
Me: No, shoot isn't a bad word. But that wasn't a nice thing to say.
DS2: Train track not a bad word.
Me: No, of course not.
DS2: FUCK! FUCK is a bad word! I don't say fuck again!
Me: ...yes, that's a bad word.

hawkward LOL! I love this the other day apparently this conversation transpired between Dylan and his babysitter: Watching road work: D: Neenee, what's he doing? N: The man is pouring asphalt. D: Ohhh, asshole. Yeah, mommy says drivers are assholes.

Hi strangers! I hope it's ok if I jump back in. I tried keeping up at the time of the change but the summer is so busy for us as it is that it just didn't happen. Now things have slowed down I should be around a little more.
Age: 2.75
Milestones: Nothing lately just that her memory and recollection of things/events amazes me!
Challenges: Nothing. Maybe it's just perspective but she's pretty easy to get along with.
Funny/cute stories: Lately she's really been upping her "little mama" game with her sister. She wants her to hold her hand when we are out walking together, tries to lift her down off things she's not supposed to climb, and tell her what to do/eat/how to behave. It's really funny especially since she doesn't even follow most of what she preaches. Lol
How are you? I'm pretty good. Going through some major changes with my job, but it should work itself out one way or another in the next month/6 weeks.
QOTW: She's pretty solidly into 3T.

My little one goes here too now!
Age: 15.5m
Milestones: Climbing everything. Especially stuff she's not supposed to. Is that a milestone?
Challenges: She's still pretty nonverbal. Her only words are mom and hi so her and I are both pretty frustrated a lot of the time. I have no idea what she wants and she has no idea how to tell me. She isn't even great at pointing, so yeah. That's where we are at.
Funny/cute stories: Whenever we visit my parents or IL's when it's time to go I always tell her to "gives kisses and say bye bye" so now when we go to either of those places and she deems it time to go she runs around kissing everyone and then stands at the baby gate and waves to everybody even if we are in the middle of something.
How are you? See above
QOTW: Her 12m stuff is way too small, but some of the 18m stuff looks too long on her arms and legs. She's average height overall but definitely carries the majority of it in her torso.
