I'm here with my venti triple latte and my sassypants. Background: Attorney General Jeff Sessions is testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee in a routine oversight hearing. He has quite a bit to answer for and I have faith in the Democrats and Independent on the committee to demand that he do so.

It bothers me that they call him general sessions. He's not a general.

Sessions: The past two years have seen the fastest rise in violent crime in 25 years. The homicide rate is the highest in 49 years. POTUS EO "directed us, simply, to 'reduce crime in America."

oh god, Captain Sanctuary City is arguing that the federal government shouldn't step on the toes of the very professional and well trained local and state police departments. What a hypocrite.

He's flatout telling the committee he is going to stonewall them. "The president is entitled to have private, confidential communications with members of his cabinet"

He says it's a "long established practice" but it ISNT. The Democrats will surely give him shit for this.
