What's your favorite part of the place you live in. Could be a room, or a nook, or a closet, or a tree outside. Bonus points for pics.

Mine is my butler's pantry. When were were looking at houses and we came across it I was practically giddy. The kitchen itself has floor to ceiling cabinets, but the butler's pantry is a dream come true. It brings me great pride to have a well stocked pantry, and the setup allows for everything to be right at my fingertips. There's an outlet in there so I can set up my mixer and keep all the mess contained when I'm baking.
I'll update with pics tonight.

I can't play. There's nothing about my home I even like. I agreed to live there because it would make my husband enormously happy and keep him from continuing to insist we move closer to his family.

I liked it better before our old landlord sold the house, but I love that it's super cheap for our area for what we have. There isn't much else in our price range with a decent-sized yard, washer/dryer hookups, lots of storage space, and a driveway that can fit both vehicles when we have two. It works for us, although I'd like to try to move to a town with better schools sometime in the next few years.

It's my dream to live in a house with a Butler's pantry and a solarium!
I love that my house was built in the 1950s and has almost all of the original charm of it's era. My favourite things about it are the original hardwood floors, which are in perfect shape and cover the entire main floor, and the layout (it's a bungalow with all three bedrooms on one side of the house that can be closed off by a door. Also the kitchen is not open to the rest of the house, which is my preference). I also love the big windows in the basement and the location of the house.

At first I was picturing a Mid Century Modern nightmare.

Our basement - MH finished it about a year and a half ago. Now we have a big comfy couch in front of a big TV with a big stereo set-up for watching football and movies. It's awesome. Long-term plan is to hopefully put a projector down there.
