Wearing new boots to work was a poor choice. My feet are just fat enough that I was able to get them on this morning under a false sense of security. It’s also my baby shower at work today and I’m feeling super uncomfortable about it. I feel bad that I showed up pregnant in May when I transferred to this office.

I cannot breath today. Like I've been gasping for air like I just sprinted all day. And it makes no sense because this kid is all up in my cervix. Feet stretched out and compressing your lungs? Or huge baby hitting lungs and cervix simultaneously, which is possible. Because the ultrasound confirmed today that my kid is absolutely jammed down in my pelvis with his hand punching my cervix AND jammed into my ribs with his legs all froggy-position and his feet kicking into my organs. It's pretty sweet. And by sweet I mean uncomfortable.

SLIGHTLY PANTING! ? LOLÂ i hope to be well into the epidural phase of the program before panting kicks in! lol Right?!?! That's what I said when he was explaining when to call with dd. I guess he doesn't like false alarms lol From recent experience, I wouldn't say panting, but they will take your breath away/ stop you in your tracks. Not necessarily right away, but you will feel them increase in intensity. Also, I think it's fair at this point to call the doctor when you have a question. I hesitated to call right away when I thought my water broke (I promise, story will follow at some point), and while everything went fine, I could have had the spinal earlier and with less contractions if I had been a little quicker to call (I waited 20 minutes, so thankfully not too long).

My coworkers threw me a sprinkle this morning which was very sweet of them. I got so many boxes or diapers and wipes I had to get H to come over and take some in his truck. Now I just need to make a list of have to haves before baby and do a little shopping. Mostly for things I threw away or need new if from DS. Like a bath tub and some bottles. Nothing major I don’t think.

All labs and my BP look good! And they were even able to do my follow up growth scan today instead of me needing to go tomorrow, so that's nice. Baby is measuring big all around at 38.5 weeks, 8 lb 10 oz. 😱 belly is measuring over 40 weeks, but at least everything else has sort of caught up. Just waiting for them to page the doc and see if I can be let go, and also confirm the induction date and time. Ninja baby with foot by face, and then kissing the placenta:

Well now we are looking at 11/2! Since everything looks great. Could still change if my BP is up at my appt next Wednesday but so far, it looks like I will make it to November. So baby bee had better be here by then!

Dr also decided that we will use my AMA status and schedule BPPs (which I guess we should have been doing but since I’ve been the one that gets rescheduled for other surgeries and whatnots, it was overlooked) for the next 2 weeks. She is hoping it will also help with any anxiety since I’ve always had weekly BPPs from 30 weeks on.
After the appt I was driving off and a grasshopper found its was into the car, zooming past me, and luckily out the window, but not before raising my heart rate significantly. That is when I decided to go to Target, saw H, and picked up all the things to make broccoli cheese soup. A ladybug was on my shopping cart. Oh and this morning there was a cricket in the bathroom. I’m the furthest from Snow White, maybe tomorrow will have less bugs.

I'm at the point where most of the time, I don't know if I need to poop or if I am feeling baby pressure. It's a fun game. I am also here. If I could poop more then once every 3 days it might help. I've started eating two prunes a day, it seems to be fairly effective, and they actually taste good too.

JFC I just got an absurd BP reading. 136/102. I waited a few minutes and took it again while staring out the window and deep breathing to calm myself down and it went to 131/92 but that was not great.
Saturday, uterus. You just need to make it to Saturday.

My feet keep swelling today. I'm currently sitting with my feet up at my desk and they are back to a reasonable size. I need to make sure I am walking more throughout the day. This is not a good look.

Even my doctor made a comment about how strange it was last week. Maybe she's spread eagle and the other is up there, but I think her butt is high enough that my diaphragm can't go down all the way. I make long babies and I'm only 5'3" so they just have nowhere to go.

Super cute pics this week thatgolfb! misskilljoy my BP has been lower than usual for my whole pregnancy and is around 109/60, definitely leads to an occasional dizzy spell for me. It has been POURING here all day. We have to go to my brothers for dinner, which is good because they're making prime rib and I'm bringing a pumpkin cheesecake, but they live like 30 minutes out of town and it'll be even slower after work in the rain. Wah. Other note from today: Work is going to throw a shower for me next Friday It'll be nice. I sort of wish they'd just do cash in a card, but you know, I can't ask

Thanks for the advice. They have continued all day but not regular all the time. I will call in the morning just to check.
My water broke with E and the contractions got really intense. With J, they started out like this. I barely felt anything. No panting. I had one really long and intense one and then it went fast to get a room and epidural. Ones after that weren't bad.
I was leading a meeting and trying to act cool because they hurt deep in my crotch.

XD It is low, or at least I think so. My normal is 90/56 and it has been lower. My OB and NP always tell me that it is fine and not to worry. We have taken it in different arms and after the appt. My mom has high BP, so I’m always paying attention for spikes. I also wonder if it why I literally have no energy and always feel dehydrated, though I’m not.

The threshold for what's considered hypertension is static and 109/60 is nowhere near it, but yeah, big changes to your average BP are worth keeping an eye on because if it's consistently rising, that's not good. I have heard that low BP can make you feel really crappy, for sure. :/ Have you had your iron levels checked, though? I always feel the lousiest when my iron stores have tanked.

I think she checks them with my initial blood work. I will definitely ask next week though.
