AnnPerkins if I need to pick an induction date for next week... 25th? Lol. Not sure it will come to that. But just in case... YES. I will be heading in at 5pm central time on the 25th. Plan your admittance accordingly, pls. I hope your stay in L&D is short and your BP gets itself under control!

I hate to brag, but I slept straight through from 11pm to 7am. It was some sort of pregnancy miracle! I didn't even get up to pee. What!
But then baby was super quiet this morning and stressing me out. I have got a couple small kicking spells out of her now, but I guess we were both tired.

Welp. I'm getting sent to L and D. Just for extra monitoring since BP is climbing. Depending on the results of the labs, I'm looking at induction between 37-39 weeks (which is what I expected anyway). good luck!

Talk to me about regular contractions?
I am 35 weeks. I had a meeting this morning and I have been having regular contractions every five minutes. I never had this with the other two. They are deep. I drank a water during the meeting.

I drank a water during the meeting. How long are they lasting? Someone posted the 5-1-1- rule (see below - roloma knows what she's talking about way more than I do) and that seems to be a good test for whether you should go in for monitoring. I had contractions every 4-5 minutes for about an hour and a half the other day but they were not painful and eventually stopped. I was close to calling. XD

XD 5-1-1 would be every five minutes, lasting for a minute, for at least an hour. This was 2 years ago and when I research I see that some people are suggesting it moves to 4-1-1, so every 4 minutes instead of 5. you

You bet 5 an hour is only a concern really early on, according to my OB. I don't know anything about actually going into labor on my own since I didn't last time but this always stuck in my mind. Wishful thinking, maybe?

My OB told me to start timing if I noticed more than 4 BH in an hour at this point, which is clearly where my brain got confused, but it's all really subjective. Some women have virtually non-stop BH for weeks, others have none at all, so I think what he told me is just a baseline to start paying attention to them.

I am still only dilated to a 1 so they aren't doing anything... i have never gone into labor on my own so with the "bh" contractions like they are i am worried i wont take it serious when its time and #4 will come out blazing fast.

Just adding my two cents. I had some for about an hour off and on Friday but enough to make me feel light headed. On top of the timing my ob said you should be uncomfortable enough to be slightly panting. He also said contractions are expected at this point. This was when I mentioned it at my appointment Monday because I never had any with dd either until the hospital.

Feeling super overwhelmed today. oh no! Why is that? I’m really not sure. Just talked to my dr and she said we will keep an eye on it. She wants to make sure it isn’t PPA/D and not just a tough day or two.

Cervixal check revealed 50% & 1cm. So a bit less than my last 3 at this point in pregnancy, but not too far off. At this point I’m typically 50-60% and 2-2.5 cm.

clucky I'm glad they're going to keep an eye on it. Hopefully you start feeling better soon. This kids is rolling around like crazy! It feels very alienesque in my belly right now lol. Excited for my parents to bring the crib over tomorrow. I think I will really start to feel ready once it's in my house. I'm a little anxious about getting the nursery finished since the photographer said it needs to be done before newborn pics lol

I'm at the point where most of the time, I don't know if I need to poop or if I am feeling baby pressure. It's a fun game. I am also here. If I could poop more then once every 3 days it might help.

I cannot breath today. Like I've been gasping for air like I just sprinted all day. And it makes no sense because this kid is all up in my cervix.
