I have a PSA.  I just found our that for 3 YEARS I had the carseat installed wrong in my car.  For DD1, a year in the bucket seat, then a year and a half in her RF convertible. The for DD2, 8 months in her bucket.

Did you know that most cars are NOT approved to use the LATCH system in the center seat?  I didn't know that. And now I am sick to my stomach that we were SO careful about car seat installation... and still did it wrong. 

So, when we get Baby A's neww car seats, we'll be hiring a CPST to walk us through the install of the new seats, and check the install of DD1's seats.

This page lists all the cars approved for center LATCH. If your car's not on the list, don't use center LATCH. If you want to have the seat in the center, use the seatbelt to install.

E was up 3 times last night God bless H he took care of all 3 times even when I offered. We have off today E has her developmental appointment at the hospital where she was born. It feels so nice not to be at work right now.

Ugh. I'm sorry about the carseat stuff judyblume14. A lot of it is so non-intuitive. I don't blame you for hiring someone.

Yikes judyblume14 ! My car is not on that list. No one is in the center seat now, and I never put ds' rear facing there because it was too much a pita to get him in and out, but he was in the center for 8/9 months in his bucket. Scary!

Weird that you posted this today because sil was asking me about winter coats and car seats.

Ds had a playdate at the kid's museum. It went well. I hadn't taken him for over a year because it's so expensive but Corner Neighbor had guest passes. He's the perfect age/size for almost all of the exhibits now. A membership is definitely going on the kids christmas list. So he had a playdate yesterday, today, and then tomorrow we're going to the inlaws. His social calendar is killing me this week. I just want to nap.
