I think my boobs have geared up to do work over the last few days, slight leaking and they seem more full overall. Too bad their services will not be needed.

thatgolfb and cnf - you ladies have instant pots, correct? I want to get one and there’s a good deal going on through Kohls- just wondering what size you have? The 6 qt is obviously cheaper than the 8 qt but I wonder if it would be big enough... if I’m wrong about you having an IP then just ignore me lol.

pootsen I have the 6qt and it is a nice size, but we will eventually have to suite up to an 8qt. If the 8qt is a good deal, get that one. I think it would be easier to make pot-in-pot meals in.

quinn I wish my hospital had a nursery! No such luck. Luckily both times with each kid, the nurses took the baby for 3 hours so I could some sleep. And my husband too I guess. He was "so tired from being up all night!" ! 🙄🙄🙄 Hoping for the same again. Diffeeent hospital, but smaller so depends on how busy the ward is.

I have the 6 quart and it is plenty big. The meals I make are usually 4-6 servings and I have never had trouble fitting things in, not even close. I made a beef stew last week that had a ton of ingredients and it was no problem.

Today has been an itchy suckfest and it looks as though tonight will follow suite. DH has already made sleeping arrangements elsewhere per my warning. Maybe one of us will get some sleep tonight. Also, I think this kid has dropped because I can barely put my pants on or take them off and my pelvis is killing me.

Went to the pumpkin patch today. Our stroller wheel locked up and wouldn’t release, so that sucked. I called the company and they are sending a new one and we just ship back the dud. 3 year old stroller and no questions asked, beyond what was wrong. I love our stroller and was nervous spending so much, but I’m beyond satisfied with this customer service.
I’m so sore. We had a good time but we didn’t cover near the area we would have if I wasn’t hobbling around. DS3 also insisted I be the one to carry him, so my hips are beyond aching. I did get a homemade chicken hot pie and a slice of chocolate turtle Carmel pecan pie too and it was amazing.
Tomorrow I’m going to be so stiff and we need milk, which means the back of the grocery store for me. 😭

Hmm I don't have much experience with frozen beef, especially thick cut. This recipe says a 2.75 lb frozen roast took 1.5 hours. That sounds about right. When I made French dip I think I set it for about 75 minutes but it didn't really need that long. ohsodelicioso.com/pressure-cooker-frozen-roast-beef/

Thanks ladies! I figured it was nothing, but one of those things that keeps popping in my head. No leaking while pregnant with either baby. I pumped successfully with DS1 for 5.5months and DS2 is already clusterfeeding/producing an absurd amount of poopy/wet diapers. Yeah same here. Never leaked with either pregnancy and I've always had a great milk supply

I tried pictures and videos of DD when I was pumping at work last time. No dice. No letdowns for me either if I would hear any baby cry. Not even a twinge. I also never leaked at all. Boob pads were not needed. My sister always jokes that I try to get rid of my children as often as I can. Which isn't really true, I just enjoy having some time away from them so I can enjoy them that much more when are back together. 😉 I'm also fortunate to have both sets of grandparents 10 minutes from our house. My sister lives 16 hours away from every family member on both sides so doesn't have that quick and easy babysitter. I need me time. And it does make me enjoy my kid so much more too. We also have both sets of grandparents close by. My in laws are 15 minutes away and we literally live across the street from my parents. I'm happy to let others take her and play with her. And it's honestly good for her too. DNW a stage five clinger for a kid.

I have the six quart and it's plenty big enough for us. I don't make a four course gourmet meal in mine with millions of pots, so I don't care for the extra space. The 8qt gets it's extra size in height, not width, I'm almost certain. If you go that route make sure in advance you have somewhere to store the beast. A lot of people complain that it doesn't always fit nicely in standard cupboards.
