Swim lessons today, Mom and sister are going to come by to see DD and dinner at family friends tonight. Taitai You need to save that newspaper for when your DS gets old enough, that is a crazy amount of rain. Glad everything is going well so far! We did save the newspaper front page! I am going to clip it out and put it in LO's baby book. We also have a picture of us driving through the high water with me in the front of the high water pickup, being driven by our building's maintenance man. Cannot make this stuff up! |

I don't think I've commented on your experience yet and I know how scary/unpredictable it probably was but, what a unique birth story you have! |

DS has been nursing so well that as of last night he was still at his birth weight. 👍 I was shocked, although my nipples weren't. Ouch. Also postpartum contractions are awful! I don't remember these with DD. I didn't remember having these at all the first time either. The nurse and midwife both told me that they tend to be much worse with the second which would explain that. +1 On the pp contractions being killer! I didn't remember them being this bad with DS1. My doctor said the same thing about them being worse for STM. Although, they're getting a lot better now that I'm almost 48 hours from delivery. FX that my uterus is super small and they let up soon! |

I for one am really really glad you made it to the hospital despite the massive flooding however forgive me but I can't help chuckling here visualizing you in a songteow(sp?) or tuk tuk on the way to the hospital. 😅 |
