I didn’t either, there were other family’s there so I’m not sure what their problem was. My MIL was across the restaurant so I didn’t see exactly what happened but it wasn’t full so I don’t see how they would have been bothering anyone. Anyhoo, we’ll be finding somewhere else to eat.

Still pregnant (and probably will be for another 2 weeks!). Tried to clean this morning and got one bathroom done and was sweating like a pig and took so much out of me. Think I might say screw it and hire a cleaning person for a one time clean! I'm not sleeping well at all and can never get comfortable and my maternity clothes are even getting tight! I'm just over it and cranky! DH doesnt get it!

We are suppose to go to a pumpkin patch with DHs family tmrw. It's an hour away and will be lots of walking and its suppose to be 80 degrees. Is it bad of me to not want to go?

Seriously! We had another shpoot! session this afternoon and this time I wasn't quick enough. Luckily it only shot out just to the end of the changing pad and TMI as I was cleaning him up and putting on that final butt paste, I was able to contain it With my hands 😅 What a day it's been!

rebeccabunch - that is how all of DDs bdays have been so far - pizza, apps... things I don’t have to make myself. I don’t see it changing anytime soon

Also need to learn to just get prepared food for parties 😬 I always make everything myself. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sucker.

I don't blame you, an hour drive and walking and the heat? We went today and it basically made me useless the rest of the day. Could you hang back while everyone else went?

Aw, that’s sweet of you to ask! Going to bed is better now it’s more getting back to sleep if one of the kids or my bladder wakes me up or waking early with 1-2 hours til I need to be up but not being able to go back to sleep.

DS2s bday party was great. Buying all the food and setting the party 2 days after the cleaning lady was here greatly lessened my work load.

So the headline on the cover of today's newspaper reads "Most recorded rainfall in 30 years hits capitol city - causes massive flooding." Friday night to Saturday morning had the most recorded rainfall since 1986 - 21cm (8.2 inches) of rain per hour, for 7 hours (11pm - 6am) 😂😂. No wonder when we tried to leave for the hospital at 7am we couldn't get through! Sooooo grateful for the maintenance dude with his super jacked up high pick-up truck. Going to get him a fruit basket once we are home.

Other than being thankful that I didn't have this baby at home due to being flooded in, just here at the hospital with DH and baby. Things are going well - baby is breastfeeding without issue and I'm feeling really good for being 30 hours after delivery. The nursery here is amazing too and they have been taking LO for 2-3 hour stretches so DH and I can sleep.

DS also met baby today and he was sooooooo excited. It went better than I hoped. DS got to hold his little brother and just sat there smiling at him. Heart = melted. 😍😍 I hope he continues to be interested in his new little brother once we get home!

Swim lessons today, Mom and sister are going to come by to see DD and dinner at family friends tonight.

Taitai You need to save that newspaper for when your DS gets old enough, that is a crazy amount of rain. Glad everything is going well so far!

DS has been nursing so well that as of last night he was still at his birth weight. 👍 I was shocked, although my nipples weren't. Ouch.

Also postpartum contractions are awful! I don't remember these with DD.

My throat was all gunky for the past week or so. Well now it's developed into a cough. Of course I'll get a coughing fit right when nursing, messing up his latch. Gah!

92% humidity. I have a constant film of sweat on me and it's gross. Also, a mosquito bit me on the underside of my belly and paired with the stretched skin it is itching something crazy.

Hey all! Not much to report here. Just snuggling baby girl while DS takes his nap. Later we're going to a bonfire at a friend's house. It's a little chilly today (around 50F), so I'll have to bundle up LO. I'm super excited for some s'mores though!

I ate sushi, pizza and ice cream for lunch. It was so good. DS has rediscovered his old baby toys we had saved and is acting like it's Christmas morning.

Hi. I'm reading but having a hard time contributing. We're doing fine, at least as fine as you can with a toddler and infant. Lolz

I cannot believe how ready I am for football to be over. I usually love this time of year (districts), but I miss DH and I'm tired of solo parenting. My patience with DS1 is thin and I hate it. I'm tired of our mom's being over all the time (having company wears me out and I need solo time to recharge) but with DH gone so much I need (and appreciate) the help. Ugh.

DS2 is fantastic. He's a chunk, already outgrowing clothes and we moved to size 1 diapers several days ago. He sleeps right through all of DS1's shenanigans.

We've started ordering groceries online for pickup at the store and we love it so far.

Those are my randoms.

CoachTsWife H is just getting ready to start basketball here so I’m trying to enjoy our last weekend as a family before the craziness starts. I’m having a hard time picturing myself “doing it” with a newborn and toddler but we do what we have to do I guess I hear you on the help - I’ve loved having people around because I can’t do it all but I need solo time to recharge. Now I’m about to get a lot of solo time I suppose....

Some teen-maybe 18?-ran into our mailbox on his bike. I'm surprised he knocked and told us. H told him don't worry about it (the whole post needs to be replaced). And now I get to pick out something new! H went alone and is sending me pictures...of just a box (no post) that costs $100. I think he's lost it.

You guys. DD did so good meeting "baby brudder". I am so incredibly proud of her! We go home tomorrow and I know things could change but I'm crossing everything she accepts him with open arms!

I didn't remember having these at all the first time either. The nurse and midwife both told me that they tend to be much worse with the second which would explain that.

Just like CoachTsWife, I am here reading even though I may not post everyday. Life with a toddler and newborn is wonderful...but busy! Between taking care of both kids, myself, household chores, and saving some time to rest, there is little time left in the day. But I wouldn't trade it for anything. I do have some randoms for your reading pleasure.

I had my first NIP experience last night at some of H's family's house and it went way better than expected. Since I EPed with DD, I was super nervous for the first time I'd have to do it. Thank goodness DS is a great nurser and made it super easy on me. I just threw the cover on, he latched on, and we got it done.

This morning I scheduled a delivery of chocolate covered strawberries with a thank you note to the midwife who delivered both kids. She went above and beyond with both deliveries and I hope this small token makes her realize the impact she had on us.

The baby is growing on DD. She has offered him all sorts of snacks (yogurt, cheeze its, chocolate milk, etc.) and yesterday she wanted to make sure I was gonna get him out of his swing before we left the house. It has definitely been a challenging transition but just the small amount of progress she has shown warms my heart. They'll be BFFs before I know it.
