We did a roast yesterday. It was a hit with the babies, so we'll be repeating it a lot.

I get whatever roast is cheapest, then cook it until it falls apart. We usually use a steak seasoning and throw veggies in towards the end (or in the morning if we're out of the house all day)

Also, pot roast are pretty much the only thing I put in a crock pot. I've never tried anything else.

Definitely chili. We usually fill up the big stock pot and eat on it for almost a week lol

My husband doesn't like chili but I make it anyway.
Shepherd's pie Roast lamb (good for sandwiches for a few days) Soups (cream of mushroom, minestrone, clam chowder) Beef stew Potatoes and sausages smothered in gruyere

So much soup. Veggie soup, chicken soup, taco soup. Chili. Turkey and sweet potato chili, white chicken chili.

I made beef stew last week. I added a bottle of stout and an equal amount of apple cider to the broth. It came out so delicious.

I'm a broken record, but you should check out New Leaf Wellness. She has tons of crockpot and freeze ahead meals. My favorite is the salsa verde chicken as taco filling.
