I never thought I'd train for a half marathon.
I never thought I'd coach my kid's soccer team. For that matter, I never thought I'd be the one being teased for being "high energy" when I run with the kids.
I never thought I'd have shirts from HS cross country that are a little baggy now.

Running in general. I remember being forced onto the track team and taking my sweet time during one of the dashes, and here I am actively training for 5Ks.
I also never thought I'd be someone who misses exercising.

I have always longed to be one of those people who are like "I can't even drink pop! It makes me feel crappy!"
HERE I AM! haha. This is a weird one.

Drink green juice on a regular basis.
Be content in my body even when I’m not at my goal weight yet. It’s such a new feeling to me and it’s really nice. I still have a couple spots I get down on, but I’m so much more kind to myself now. I feel strong and healthy and good in my skin.

I never ever thought I would a) run or b) enjoy it. I have asthma so until I learned how to regulate my breathing I thought it was impossible.

I never thought I'd be someone who works out regularly for an extended period.
I'd like to be able to do real push ups.

I never thought I'd... -Love working out & make the time for it -Love running (I was on the cross country team my Sr. year of HS and hated every second of it), not to mention train for a half marathon (what?!) -Think about food as fuel for my workouts/life/keeping up with the kids instead of something that tastes good or gives comfort -Feel sexy, feel confident in my own skin -Realize that life in general is easier when I weigh less, eat healthy & exercise. When I was obese crossing my legs was hard, air travel was hard, going to a concert was hard because standing for so long was really hard. I was grumpy & annoyed. I didn't get why it was so hard until it got easy.

Get annoyed when something interferes with my workout schedule. DS started whining in his crib this morning while I was working out. I was like "NO! Come on!". He must have psychically picked up on it because he settled down. I accidentally smacked my kid in the butt with a 12lb weight while doing tricep kickbacks last week so that really taught him to fuck with Mama's workout

Never thought I would be getting up @ 4:15 to feed the baby so I could make my 5:30 Zumba.
