So were we all trying to extend the weekend an extra day? It's tuesday. I'm tired, nothing new there. What's up?

Hey ladies ! danib How long is YH home for this stretch? Not much here, WFH. It's so cold in here, at what point is it too cold for the kids? It's 67*. We normally keep it at 71*. We have two separate heating furnaces for our main floor and upstairs. When we were doing the HVAC the guy suggested this way in case one or the other went then you still have the other floor that's fine and warm. There were some other reasons too. Well anyway here we are, something is wrong with the main floor heating and it happens to be a crappy, rainy, cold day here. Edit spelling

Well it was pretty much still weekend yesterday. I kept forgetting it was Monday.
Back to work today. I need to go talk to my boss about that other job to make sure he agrees to "release" me from this one. That should be fun.

Morning and hi!
I could use another weekend day, we were busy! We put the kids to bed at 7 last night and I guess they were both worn out, too, because we didn't hear a peep out of them until 7 this morning.
The children's baptism and brunch went well, and we had a fun Memorial Day at my parents' club. This week it's just swim lessons and trying to keep cool.

danib anything over 40 and H wears shorts too. kleigh I think the kids should be fine in 67. Closer to 60 and I'd start adding warm layers. Hopefully you figure out what's wrong with your heat. Back to normal today, not much going on. I need to pick a paint color to paint E's bedroom. Why are there so many blues? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Monty is sick Snot that he's having a hard time with, a small cough, and a low grade fever. He's actually handling it like a champ and super smiley thus morning, but he's still adrenal insufficient which means back to steroids we go. I habe to call the doc when they open and I'm a little stressed about this. I was really hoping we would avoid being sick until his adtenal glands were working.

67* sounds amazing right now kleigh. It's so hot and humid here. In the winter we keep our house at 68* and the kids are fine. I've read ideal temp is 68-72. So, 67 is maybe a touch cool, but they should be ok. I feel like it depends so much on how it feels outside, humidity level etc, though, and if you're cold, they're probably cold too.

He's done that to E a few times too. It's always interesting picking up kids from daycare when he got them dressed in the morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm sorry sarahwithanh. How long would they keep him on steroids? No idea. I haven't talked to them, but when they first found out he was adrenal insufficient they trained me on the steroids. I have an "oral" steroid and a injectable. It was a very intense training and they said give it if you are on the fence because of he needs it then he needs it and if he doesn't it is not going to be harmful. We might need to go check his levels though because they might be back up and then this is a moot point. The Dr. Opens at 8:30.

Re:temps. One sleep book I read said ideal sleeping temp for babies is 65-68*. That is f'n freezing for me! So I never keep it that cold. But 67 while hanging out with a long sleeve or layers for the babes is fine, I think. Hope this cold passes quickly sarahwithanh and that you don't need much of thre steroids!

Being in the south it's nearly impossible to keep the house that cold. I was actually glad O was a fall baby bc I could keep the house cooler! We keep it at 75 during the hot months... which is basically all but about 3.

Hello. Welcome to Tuesday.
I am feeling slightly embarrassed about the events of last night. Especially now that we are up and acting totally normal. I wouldn't have gone to the hospital if my pedi and my nurse neighbor didn't suggest it. But they seemed genuinely concerned about the bleeding.
Anyways, I have a 7 month old today guys. How in TF did that happen? I need to start planning his first birthday I think since these next 5 months will probably fly by.

Good Morning!
I'm here at work, yay. That 3 day weekend was really needed. I actually feel somewhat rested even though I slept like crap last night. I couldn't fall asleep until nearly 11 and then I couldn't go back to sleep after DS2's 2:30am wake up.
I just need to survive this short work week and then on Saturday I get to enjoy a spa day that MH booked for me for Mother's Day! I've never had a spa day and I am beyond excited about it!

Aww poor little M sarahwithanh :-( Happy 7 Months J waitwhat !!! And I wouldn't feel embarrassed. I once went to a walk in for a cut on my finger. I passed out in the waiting room while H was giving them my insurance info. When I got in the room the doctor couldn't find the cut. Tuesday confession: I didn't actually *see* the cut, I just assumed it was bad bc I was cutting an onion and knife got stuck in the onion and I pressed down hard to get it the rest of the way through. They put a band aid on it. This was 3 years ago.
