Ha ha thanks baby should be here in a few hours! We are team green and all the nurses think it's a girl because baby is cooperating (for the time being) unlike the other babies currently in route lol. But we shall see!

There's a very detailed labor thread on Nov 17. But I'll post here too because I'm an AW! Cas.pian Ja.mes was born on 10/13/17 at 4:51pm. I was stuck at 5-6 cm FOREVER and suddenly when pitocin hit 18 ... mother of god. No time for pain meds, put it that way. And ring of fire ain't no joke (I swear there were primal like screams coming out of me -- I have the sore throat to back it up). He's 7 lbs 1oz, 19" and was born at 36w 5d GA. So a little bit early

Thank you everyone! DS2 is a remarkably different newborn than ds1 was. DS1 isn't thrilled about DS2 but he's starting to come around.

How are you doing? I'm doing ok. Recovery wise, great -- so much easier than with ds1. DS2 is clusterfeeding at night and still very sleepy. And I'm a bit paranoid about making sure he's eating enough (ds1 lost a lot of weight and a night nurse scared me into pumping). But DS2 is producing more than enough poopy/wet diapers so it's mostly in my head lol. He will nurse for longer as he gets a bit older.

I remember those first weeks, having no idea if what you were doing was right and second guessing yourself every step. K was also a snacker and it used to drive me crazy. Every 10 minutes she wanted to nurse. I got nothing done. Not that I could really get much done anyways, but Netflix and I became really good friends.

sheilathetank I keep trying to tell dh that DS2 is acting completely normal, but he's like we need to figure out what's going on and fix it! Lol that's not how babies work, dude.

Thank you everyone! DS2 is a remarkably different newborn than ds1 was. DS1 isn't thrilled about DS2 but he's starting to come around. He'll adjust! For the first week or so after we brought DS2 home DS1 would just walk around the house going "Noooooooo" all dramatic like (not yelling, more pathetic sad like). But he got over it pretty quickly and now he enjoys his littler brother for the most part.
