Is there a way you can put in your notes that LAX cancelled your flight?  At my job, if a flight is cancelled due to airport/airline issues, they are more likely to accept it.  I deal with expense reports  - I make sure all info is there before getting signatures.  I would put as much info in as possible to see what they say.

My child has been an absolute monster for the past several weeks. Every single word that comes out of her mouth is said in a whine. And she says she hungry/bored every 30 seconds. I was so happy to come to work today.

We check out of the hotel in about an hour. We are all packed and the girl is napping unexpectedly (?!?!) so that's a win. Any amount of sleep she gets today will be helpful, I think.

Just got done with both interviews, the first one went ok, but the second one lasted 9 minutes and I got the "you'll hear back from me by the end of the week" deal. So I don't have high hopes for that. Ugh.

It really does! I mean, it is a phase that comes & goes, but each phase itself gets shorter & shorter. Mine only do it now when they're coming down with something or just feel off.

At work, where it is silent. I have a few meetings today, and of course it's day one of the diet so I'm STARVING at 11:30am. Of Course.

But the pool is now open, so I have somewhere to wear the kids out everyday. Best.

one time I pulled open the outside mall door and I expected it to be super heavy and hard to open like all mall doors and DS was right behind me and i didn't know and the door was so light it swung hard and hit him right in the face and knocked him flat.

I can not wake up today. I slept horribly last night, thanks to some storms and tummy issues (thanks, CD2!). I think I may try to take a nap when I put the toddler down in a couple minutes, but also don't want to continue the cycle of taking a nap to make it through the day, but then not being able to sleep because I took said nap.

I love it windwithfingers! I'm itching for a new tattoo SOOO bad. I wanted to get one each for both of my kids, but I think I may just combine them and just get one big thigh piece of a lion (Ds is a leo) wearing an olive branch crown (DDs nickname is Olive).

I figure it'd probably be more realistic to get one big one then waiting for 2 separate.

Waiting for H's sub to relieve him so I can go to my school for half day. I wish I had enough sick days left to not care about taking a full day. H has days and days but he had to give an end of course exam today and wanted to be there.

I'm supposed to be at school in 6 minutes. Luckily I have an amazing partner who will cover for me.

I've done that too, but to myself. It's ok, I didn't need that toenail.
