Weeks pregnant: 17
Baby is the size of a: chipmunk! That's huge.
FTM/STM/TTM: Second
Team: green
Appointment: Both of my upcoming appointments had to be rescheduled because life, so, 10/24 midwife and 11/8 for my anatomy scan.
Symptoms: major food aversions, heightened sense of smell, terribly sore lower back. I'm sure the back pain is pregnancy related but the rainy weather and physically demanding job are not helping.
Milestones:
Rants/Raves/Vents: I've been really anxious about this pregnancy. My 2 year old keeps asking "the baby ok?" And I know he's just curious and it's not really real for him yet but it stresses me out. Like yes, all signs indicate that the baby is healthy and everything is probably fine but how do we knooow. Ya know? I feel a little bit better now that movement is getting more consistent.
GTKY: you can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? I would say Harry Potter, but I don't think I could pick one from the series. I love The Birth House by Amy McKay and have read multiple times, so I'll pick that one.

Waiting for that second tri energy kick. Also my nipples are hurting again like early pregnancy. Showering is so painful. Milestones: hitting 16 weeks! Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm so over feeling so tired. I wanted to start moving rooms around for my daughter and the baby but I have no energy when I get home from work. GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be This is hard and I don't think I can just pick one. Awkward work bathroom pic.

Weeks pregnant: 15w3d (I had to look it up. My memory is going)
Baby is the size of a: Box of crayons
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Blue
Appointments: Nothing until Oct 25th.
Symptoms: Fatigue still. Stupid vivid dreams. Crying at just about everything. My boobs are still sore that I cringe putting my bra on every day still.
Milestones: Nothing really.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I keep getting really anxious about how baby is doing in there. It feels like a million years until the next appt to hear a hb and I keep convincing myself something terrible happened and then have to convince myself it didn’t. I don’t know why I’m like this but its exhausting.
GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? The Mists of Avalon. I’ve read it at least 4 times already and I feel like I get more out of it each time. Plus I love me some King Arthur shit.
I have a bump pic but Tapatalk is being a douche and won’t open for me right now. Grr.

Weeks pregnant: 14+1
Baby is the size of a: peach
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Blue!
Appointments: 10/24
Symptoms: Not really any right now
Milestones: I thought maybe I felt movement for the first time today but maybe it was just gas.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I think I complained about this last week but people say the dumbest shit to pregnant women.
GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? I love to read but I rarely re-read anything, even if I love it. I am re-reading Harry Potter right now though so I guess that.

I am a day late again.
Weeks pregnant: 17 weeks, 5 days
Baby is the size of a: pomegranate
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: We may be switching to finding out.
Appointments: I had one on Tuesday my next one with the OB is not until Nov. 7. I am being referred to MFM for my A/S due to my high BP, so that appointment will be scheduled soon.
Symptoms: still throwing up in the morning; nausea is there, but much milder; I am feeling more baby movement.
Milestones: Feeling movement more consistently
Rants/Raves/Vents: I have a cold. Yesterday I felt terrible, I am feeling a little better today. I am frustrated that I can't get my BP back in the normal range. It is in the 140-150 range. I have made a drastic diet change this week and am walking 30 minutes more days than not. Hopefully, it will improve some by my next appointment. I have an appointment with my PCP on 10/24, so I would love to see some improvement at that appointment.
GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? I don't read much for fun. I am a big proponent of reading, but I have never been a big reader myself. The only book that I read over and over is the Bible. I have been reading through the whole thing this past year. I haven't done that since high school.

Weeks pregnant: 18+3. I always have to check my app. With my first pregnancy I always knew exactly how far along I was. Ugh. Poor child.
Baby is the size of a: tall, decaf, non-fat, Frappuccino with whipped cream and caramel
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: third time mom
Team: green
Appointments: anatomy scan on 10/19, appointment the week after.
Symptoms: weird sharp pains, RLP? Fatigue, fatigue, fatigue. Nausea is 90% gone!
Milestones: I somehow feel like four weeks between appointments is too long when you aren't feeling consistent kicks yet. It's like, HELLO BABY PLEASE CHECK IN, THANKS.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I am thrilled that my nausea subsided at 18 weeks instead of 20-23 weeks, like my previous pregnancies.
GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? Oh gosh. So many options. It would have to be really, really long... Ugh. I re-read books almost exclusively. I feel like I deserve a medal each time I take a new book out of the library. I re-read Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury every spring, so I'll pick that for now.

cornpop, you have a lovely photo of the Academy of Sciences and the tower behind you. Glad it was not a foggy day, but too bad the fires were creating such a smoky backdrop.

rm2013, I took my regular ones with dinner last night (instead of before bed on an empty stomach) and so far that has seemed to help. If it gets bad again I'm going to switch to the gummies.

I’m super late. In my defense I was in the hospital for the last few days. Weeks pregnant: 18w2d Baby is the size of a: artichoke FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: blue Appointments: next OB appointment is next Friday. A/S is in two weeks. Symptoms: nausea still. I’m hoping once I’m done with the prednisone (hopefully this weekend!!) that will go away. Milestones: does going to the ER count as a milestone? I’m 2/2 in my pregnancies for having medical emergencies. I spent Tuesday night throwing up every 1/2 hour for 8 hours straight. I couldn’t keep even water down so we went to the ER Wednesday morning because I was so dehydrated. Still felt terrible even with multiple IVs and Zofran so they admitted me. Finally back home and starting to feel better. Rants/Raves/Vents: feeling him move a bunch lately. It is so great to feel and calms my nerves. GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? I’m also going to cheat and say the Harry Potter series. I mean...you need all of the books to make sense of it - it really is like one long book.
