Weeks pregnant: 14w2d Baby is the size of a: I don't even know FTM/STM/TTM/etc: 4th Team: Blue! Appointments: I don't have another appointment until the 24th Symptoms: Not much for symptoms. I can feel flutters here and there though. Loving it! Milestones: Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm sick again! Ugh. I'm sure it's same nasty sinus infection the rest of my family has been fighting for a few weeks. Wish I could take something for relief. GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? Oh man. I'm not sure. Little Women used to be my favorite book and I've read it several times already. So, I'd say that book.

sweetc129 I didn't even see that you picked Little Women too! I love that book. Brings back many memories from when I was a young teenager reading it in my room or snuggled up on the couch.

polson Thanks! Did you take regular Sudafed? I can't seem to find just plain Sudafed anywhere, only a variation of it (ie: Sudafed PE, Sudafed Severe Cold, etc). My list approved med list just says Sudafed.

My list approved med list just says Sudafed. i think h found it at walgreens or cvs. it was a little difficult to find the plain old pseudoephedrine and not the pe stuff. full disclosure, i took the extended release/12 hour stuff which was 120 mg, not the normal 30-60mg (which i didn't know was supposed to be the recommended dose after doing an internet search). the guidelines i was given were pretty vague, so i wish i would have called nurseline. i only took it one night because i was desperate.

Weeks pregnant: 18+1
Baby is the size of a: sugar glider
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Green
Appointments: midwife today. The hospital still hasn’t gotten back to me for my AS/MFM consult (!!!😑) so yeeeaahhhh.
Symptoms: Sore and grumpy AF.
Milestones: been feeling baby for a few weeks.
Rants/Raves/Vents: DS has a cold, he’s rarely sick so it’s been rough on him and our routine. I look like a zombie too.
GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? My favourite book is East of Eden. Idk which one I would pick to read over and over forever though.

Weeks pregnant: 15,5
Baby is the size of a: Spongebob Squarepants (apparently)/box of crayons
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: First take home babe
Team: Green
Appointments: Next Monday, regular OB visit
Symptoms: Moody, bloated, eat all the sweets
Milestones: Uh, I found the HB on doppler super easy last time we tried? Does that count? I don't feel like that's a milestone.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm sick of my job. Just in general. No one is making it hard on me, but the job itself just feels overwhelming and antagonistic. I think I might just be having a harsh reaction to it right now because I'm tired and slow and things aren't the same they were before getting pregnant and it's affecting my performance. I'm just frustrated right now and all I can think about is quitting.
GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? Just ONE book? How could you do this to me?!?! I can't do that. There is literally not any one book that I could choose to read forever. Maybe if I could write, too, I could choose one? MAYBE.

Weeks pregnant: 19 + 5 Baby is the size of a: zucchini, or gameboy FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM Team: Finding out Appointments: AS on Friday, I could not be more excited! Symptoms: all the emotions, more irregular heartbeat today which is weird since they haven't adjusted my thyroid meds recently. Milestones: Feeling the baby move more and more - basically every morning. It is THE best feeling! Rants/Raves/Vents: I've been dealing with this horrible sinus congestion for several days now. At first I thought I also had a cavity, but now all my teeth hurt and I'm guessing it's just the congestion. It feels like when I had braces and I had just gone to the orthodontist and could only eat mashed potatoes and pudding for the next couple days. DNW to revisit those days. GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? I'm going to cheat and say the whole Harry Potter series. I am one huge HP nerd. I guess if I had to choose one, it would be HP and the Half-Blood Prince. You get a nice double bump pic today courtesy of the only mirror at work that’s not in a bathroom.

Weeks pregnant: 15w6d
Baby is the size of a: box of crayons, navel orange
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: finding out
Appointments: check-up next Thursday
Symptoms: tailbone pain, stuffy nose
Milestones: none I can think of this week
Rants/Raves/Vents: fingers crossed, we're hoping to find out the gender tomorrow! We have an appt in the evening at a local early ultrasound boutique. I'm very nervous about finding out - I don't have a super strong feeling either way like I did with DS.
GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? This is cruel. I have a massive bookshelf full of books, and I'm betraying them by trying to decide, haha. If I could narrow it down to an author, I could maybe say Tamora Pierce.

Appointments: Today with the midwife Symptoms: Always either hungry or full. Milestones: I think I'm starting to feel little flutters from the baby Rants/Raves/Vents: I need to figure out this prenatal thing. I've felt so much better the past 5 days without taking them. GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? OMG one book. I read constantly. I don't know how to pick one. Maybe Love is a Mixed Tape by Rob Sheffield.

Baby is the size of a: jalapeño?
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Green
Appointments: halloween, just a regular OB check up.
Symptoms: tired, but I’m not so nauseous any more!!
Milestones: openly wearing maternity clothes now bc fuck being uncomfortable.
Rants/Raves/Vents: related to my “milestone” I’m really tired of looking chubby and not pregnant. It’s just so annoying.
GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? Any of Ken Follett’d big, trilogy books. They’re wonderful and feel like 5 fantastic books in one.

What do you like to read? I like mysteries/thrillers, historical fiction, any novels really as long as they aren’t strictly romance. Hmmm. It's been awhile since I read a good mystery, but if you want to give a supernatural fantasy (I think most people call it an Urban Fantasy genre?) a try, I'd recommend Nightlife by Rob Thurman. Has some pining/eventual romance later in the series, but it's far from the focus of the narrative. Mostly a lot of shenanigans and "how the hell did I get into this?" kind of situations. I like it a lot. Here's the blurb from the back of the book: There are monsters among us. There always have been and there always will be. I’ve known that since I can remember, just like I’ve always known I was one ... Well, half of one, anyway.Welcome to New York City - a troll under the Brooklyn Bridge, a boggle in Central Park, and a beautiful vampire in a penthouse on the Upper East Side. Most humans are oblivious to the preternatural nightlife around them, but Cal Leandros is only half human. His father’s dark lineage is the stuff of nightmares – and his entire otherworldly elf race are after Cal. His half brother, Niko, gave up college to keep them on the run for four years, but now the Grendel monsters are back. And Cal is about to learn why they want him. He is the key to unleashing their hell on earth. The fate of the human world will be decided in the fight of Cal’s life...

Weeks pregnant: 11 + 2 Baby is the size of a: lime FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: leaning towards finding out this time Appointments: first us and OB appt tomorrow (finally!!) Symptoms: most annoying right now is nausea/ food aversions (which is getting better), my skin looking even worse than usual and breast tenderness (which my toddler won't leave alone) Milestones: first appt Rants/Raves/Vents: getting really anxious for my appt tomorrow. Kind of annoyed it took this long to get in with my existing OB GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? I'm going with clementine and also cheating by saying the HP series ETA "bump" pic.

Weeks pregnant: 13w3d Baby is the size of a: Jalapeno FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Pink! Appointments: Nothing until November Symptoms: Thankfully most of my symptoms have subsided. Now I am just dealing with crazy/vivid dreams. Two nights ago I dreamt I was in labor and it was so real that I woke up in a cold sweat. Last night I had really involved dreams about the Cleveland Indians (I do not really even follow them) and that game 5 went into so many extra innings that it was still going on at 10am the next day. Bizarre. Milestones: I received my bloodwork results on Monday and found out the baby is health and a girl Rants/Raves/Vents: I kind of hate this stage where I am definitely larger than normal, but do not have an actual bump yet. I just feel kind of fluffy and gross. I will be excited when the bump actually pops. GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? I couldn't do this. I never re-read books. I love to read new things and would hate wasting time on something I already read.

Weeks pregnant: 14w2d Baby is the size of a: large lemon FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Blue Appointments: had one last Friday, and got yet another surprise u/s - dr says it's usually too early to see, but she thinks she spotted a penis . Next w/ the OB on 10/27 Symptoms: sore boobs, heartburn, RLP, very very mild nausea Milestones: SECOND TRI!!!!!!!! Oh, and def feeling movement (although it's more him rolling around occasionally rather than the "pops" of kicking/punching) Rants/Raves/Vents: basically the smell of any food right now makes me insta-hungry. Doesn't matter what the food is, or when I last ate, I need that food RIGHT MEOW. GTKY: I'm not much of a bookworm (eek...looks like I'm in the minority), but I did like the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series.

FTM/STM/TTM/etc: Third.
Team: GREEN!
Appointments: One this afternoon, "perfect" 10.5 week fetus swimming around and moving like crazy. I also got the referral for the MFM and I'm waiting for them to call me back for the appointment.
Symptoms: Nausea, exhaustion, sore boobs, pregnancy brain.
Milestones: Over a quarter of the way through now. Yay! Assuming I may get a delivery day at my next appointment in 4 weeks. I'd like to have an end date to look forward to.
Rants/Raves/Vents: N/A
GTKY: You can only read one book over and over the rest of your life, what would it be? I read Harry Potter over & over again, so I would probably say any one of those.
