A day late and a dollar short. There's still a bunch of us left with inside babies and the others with pp symptoms. So what's happening with the good, the bad and the ugly?

I'm a broken record here but mentally I'm just shot so I need to brag up the good.
I feel great and like I could do this for weeks more, which is good considering this baby shows no signs of wanting to arrive anytime soon.

The tops of my legs are still hurting when I walk and I had a lot of pressure yesterday. I've also had headaches the last two days.
Knowing that Friday is likely the day, I'm really trying to enjoy these last few days feeling him moving around in there. There's really nothing like it.

I'm really struggling emotionally/mentally. My body can't seem to get it's crap together this time. I'm just beyond done with pregnancy, hoping my midwives will schedule induction for the end of this week. I'm not sure what their policy is. I'll find out tomorrow.
I was overdue with DS also, but don't remember feeling this way about it.
Still dealing with sporadic contractions and lots of pelvic pain/pressure.

I’m having random contractions that are probably doing nothing... pelvic pain that makes it hard to walk/stand. Swollen feet/ankles... acid reflux... and I’m so freaking tired I have trouble keeping my eyes open most days

So much pressure, sporadic contractions but nothing much happening yet. Other than feeling like baby’s head is going to fall out and being beyond ready to meet this little one I physically feel really good actually. I have an appointment Thursday where the midwife will do a membrane sweep but no plan beyond that. Still hoping maybe to not make that appointment...fingers crossed!

I've actually been feeling pretty good. I think it helps that I've been off work, can eat and sleep on my own schedule for the most part. I have been having some cramping, contractions and a lot of discharge.
By this point in my last pregnancy I was super swollen and retaining water but it's not happening this time. Reflux sucks but isn't so bad since the baby decided to drop last week.
I'm suspicious because I thought I'm not supposed to feel this good at 38 weeks.

One minute I'm constipated, the next minute I urgently have to go!

I'm struggling mentally with the blood pressure stuff. I have a follow up to check it at the office on Thursday and I'm pretty sure I'm just going to ask for an induction at that point. Watching the roller coaster that is my BP has been super stressful and I can't do it much longer.

mommabakes Hugs - I feel the same way, just totally done - physically and emotionally. The lack of sleep from the strong contractions that come and go in the middle of the night is really pissing me off. I wish so badly I could just sleep through them. I'm not even overdue yet, so I can only imagine how much more maddening it is for you. Good luck at your appointment tomorrow.

Noooooooo. I’ve been there many times. Get those ABX started ASAP. You will feel better soon but when it hits, it’s the worst!

I am just ready for this baby to get out. Sore boobs, constant cramping and insane pressure. Occasional painful contractions but nothing regular at all. It’s been like a week of this. I feel like I have a bowling ball in my vag when I walk around, you’d think by now all of this pressure would have done something?!

ssm , Noooooo. So many positive vibes to you! I don't miss miss/look forward to mastitis at all. I had it twice in one month last time. I definitely cried more than the baby during those time periods. Hopefully the abx work fast!!

I'm so nauseous today. This morning was a struggle but thankfully I didn't have anything in my stomach to throw up.
Right now is a different story. Ugh.

I really feel for you. my ibuprofen kicked in so I got the kids together and went. And then it wore off almost as soon as we got home. And back to bed I went. And I felt more miserable than I could imagine. Dude. This sets in fast and hard. Like I went from functioning to I'm incapacitated on the couch begging you to add more blankets while simultaneously STAY AWAY FROM MY BOOBS.

ssm Oh man, I am so sorry about the mastitis. I had it twice with DS and it was sooooo horrible. I hope your meds set in quickly so you can feel better. doodlemommy Feeling the same over here - esp your description of a bowling ball. Hoping for you to have an outside baby soon!

So this is kinda TMI, and may be nothing. Just curious if anyone else has experienced...
This morning I woke up to a fairly big wet spot on my underwear, no discharge or anything, just wet. I smelled it and it’s definitely not pee. It didn’t really smell like anything. Can your water leak? Sub question - can your water even leak if you haven’t lost your mucus plug (that I know of)?

rachydc Yes, your water can leak. I've never had my water break on its own, but it might not hurt to call your OB and see what they would like you to do. There's a chance it could have been pee but if it was your water I know things can get on a timeline once that happens.

rachydc Could it be sweat? Sorry I know that’s gross... I struggle with the urine, discharge, sweat and fluid question daily.

rachydc Could it be sweat? Sorry I know that’s gross... I struggle with the urine, discharge, sweat and fluid question daily. Not gross, very possible. I do have a sweaty crotch lately haha but with that it seems to just soak the whole underwear not a spot per se. getting into the nitty gritty here I’m sure it’s nothing and this baby is continuing to be stubborn. I’m gunna monitor today. Google searches tell me it’s pretty common bc of hormones :/
