Yeah trust me, I don't get it either. I've known about this underway for months so we've been talking about it for months and they've said after 39 weeks "if I'm favorable" they would consider it. Apparently that means each doctor can say no, which is what happened today. Ugh.

cythe I am so angry for you - that is ridiculous. I echo what everyone else said and would be bugging another OB at the practice to induce you at 40+4...especially as you are 3cm and 50% effaced. There is no reason for them to eff you over like that and give you only 3 days with your mom.

How many weeks PP/How old is baby?
2 weeks & 2 days


How are you feeling? Any concerns?
Besides tired, I'm feeling pretty good! No concerns.


How is baby in general doing?
Really well! So far she's just a super relaxed baby who sleeps/eats/poops/eats/sleeps (in that order) all day. : )


How is baby eating & sleeping?
Eating great, and sleeping pretty well still. She's been grunting a lot during the night, I'm guessing gas due to something I ate.


BF or FF? How is that going?
BF. It's going really well!


Milestones? Both baby and mom.
Baby: Had her 2 week check today and she's gained 2 lbs in 2 weeks! She's now 8 lbs, still 20 inches long. Oh, and her umbilical stump fell off on Tuesday!
Mom: Hmmm...my PP bleeding has almost stopped? Not sure if that counts, but I'm happy about it, lol.
